With game files getting larger in size, the latest Steam games can take up a lot of storage space on your PC's hard drive or SSD.
To manage disk space, players can move games to another drive to free up disk space for the original. Fortunately, the process is very simple. Here's how it works:

How to move Steam games to another drive
Steam allows players to move games from one drive to another using two methods.
Method #1

open steam.
- Right-click on the game. I want to move to a different drive or folder in my Steam library.

choose “attribute.”

“Click.Move installation folder' This is preceded by an option to move the contents of this game to another folder or drive.

Select the target drive and press “.move” Check again.
Method #2

Select the drive where the game you want to move is currently installed on.

Find the game in the list of installed titles Check the empty box before the name.

Steam only allows you to move games between Steam library folders on different drives. If you don't already have a Steam Library folder on the drive you want to move your games to, you can create one by selecting the “Add Drive” option in the drive selector dropdown and selecting the desired drive.
Check file integrity on Steam
After moving your game installation folder to another drive, it's usually a good idea to have Steam verify file integrity. You can do this very easily. Here's how:

- Right-click. In games where you want to check file integrity

movement attribute → installed files.

Please click “Please check the integrity of the game files.” This is the third option from above.

Let Steam run validation checks. Depending on your hardware and the overall file size of your game, this may take anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes.
When verification is complete, you will see the following message: “All files have been successfully verified” The Verify Game File Integrity option will now indicate that the process is complete and the game is ready to play in the new folder.
Save files for Steam games are not stored in the game installation directory. Even if you do not enable Steam cloud saves, your save files will not be affected by moving your game installation folder.
How to bulk move games to another drive
Steam allows players to move multiple installed games from one drive to another at the same time, and it's actually quite intuitive. The process is exactly the same as described above.
The only difference is when choosing which game to move Choose multiple games, not just one. Use the checkmark selection.
Then select the drive you want to move those games to. Having enough space will make the process go smoothly.
Steam's Big Picture mode (and Steam Deck's native interface) does not allow players to move games in bulk. If you use this, you'll need to switch to the desktop client to move multiple games.
