How strong are the top four Hantengu?

during demon slayer In Season 3's 'Swordsmith Village', one of the high-ranking demons who devastated the swordsmith village was Hantengu, a high-ranking 4. As his title suggests, Hantengu is the fifth strongest demon in existence (including Muzan). This makes them extremely difficult to kill, even for the highest ranking members of the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genya, and Kanroji the Hashira of Love all fought together and finally defeated him.

As a human, Hantengu was already an ugly criminal who committed theft and murder without any remorse. When people began to doubt him, he tried to appeal to their sympathy by playing the victim. He sometimes resorted to ridiculous excuses, such as claiming that it was his fault and not the human's fault for committing the crime, and on one occasion even claimed that he was blind and therefore could not commit the crime. But in the end, his servitude and excuses failed, and he was eventually caught and imprisoned. However, while imprisoned, he was approached by Muzan Kibutsuji, who transformed him into a demon, allowing him to escape prison and murder those responsible. He continued to live for 200 years, honing his abilities and eventually becoming one of Muzan's strongest warriors, the High-Level Four Demons.

A Hantengu's first line of defense is his clone.

Each clone represents one of his emotions.

A frail, old-looking demon that appears early in the game. demon slayer The Swordsmith Village Arc isn't actually that powerful on its own. But once the Demon Slayer decapitates him, they will be shocked to discover that not only does he survive, but two younger versions sprout from his decapitated head and body. And when the Slayer decapitates two clones, two more are created, creating four younger, more powerful versions of Hantengu. • As you can guess, Sekido (Wrath) is the impatient personality of the group and is constantly angry or irritated. His special ability is to generate electricity by stabbing his kakara (a type of staff) into the ground. This skill also allows you to summon lightning to attack your opponent.
• Karaku (Pleasure) is the most cool-headed member of the group. He did not take the fight seriously on the part of the swordsmith village and acted as if he was just playing along with his opponent. His Blood Demon Art allows him to summon powerful gusts of wind using a giant Uchiwa (Japanese portable fan). A wind blast is enough to collapse a building and create a huge crater in the ground.

• Aizetsu (Sadness) is constantly depressed, but at the same time the most wholesome person in the group. Among them, Aizetsu is someone who analyzes his opponents and tries to find weaknesses and patterns in their fighting styles. His Blood Demon Art gives him the power to fire beam-like projections from a yari (traditional Japanese spear) to attack enemies from afar.
• Urogi (Joy) is the most giddy and crazy demon clone in the group of crazy demon clones. For some reason, Urogi has the body of a half-human, half-bird of prey, with wings on his back and claws on his hands. His wings are strong enough to enable him to fly while using his claws to attack his prey. Urogi's Blood Demon Art turns his screams into powerful sound waves that can deafen and stun opponents.

Decapitating any more of these four clones won't produce more clones, but it won't kill them either. The only way to defeat them is to find the main body, Hantengu, and finally cut off its head. Unfortunately, the body has the ability to shrink, making it extremely difficult to find. Especially since fighting clones requires the Demon Slayer's full attention.

Baekcheon Jo, Tengu Han's Hatred

If four clones are still not enough to defeat the opponent, Sekido, the clone symbolizing anger, can absorb the remaining three clones to become Johakuten, Hantengu's expression of hatred. If you thought the clones were dangerous enough, Zohakuten can use all the Blood Demon Arts for himself while also gaining a new Blood Demon Arts that allows him to generate and manipulate wood from his own body. In the Swordsmith Village Arc, Zohakuten primarily uses this power to create giant wooden dragons to attack his enemies. The wooden dragon he created can also use the Blood Demon Arts of previous clones, such as shooting lightning and firing sound waves.

And while all of this is happening, remember that you have to find the little Hantengu wandering around because you can't “beat” Zohakuten. Even if you cut off his head with the Nichirin sword, it is of no use in the end because Jo Baek-tian is not his true body.

Hantengu's Grudge, Urami

Unlike other clones, Urami is not created as a result of one of them being beheaded or absorbed. Instead, Hantengu's main body appears to be able to summon Urami at will and hide within it as a last line of defense. Urami's appearance is essentially the same as his main body, except that he is now huge and more buff. Also, as the embodiment of resentment, he is not a coward like Hantengu, and in his twisted mind, he hates people who try to kill him because he has done nothing wrong. Like Zohakuten, Urami is also implied to be able to use the abilities of the four initial clones, but is shown to only use Urogi's scream ability.
