Many features are unlocked gradually over several weeks, so it's easy to miss out on important rewards if you don't know where to look. This guide covers everything currently available in the Call of Whales event, including all fish, bird, and insect locations.
How to start the Call of the Whale event
When the Call of Whales event starts, To enter Whalefall Canyon, go to the underwater portal.. Talk to every NPC in the base camp for a few minutes. Each character is introduced to different features of the event, and many of the mechanics are locked until the quest is completed.
One of the first rewards is ocean vacuumIt is used to clean polluted parts of the ocean. You'll also unlock an ocean map that tracks underwater areas in need of restoration.
Cleaning contaminated areas can yield coral, seashells, and a variety of gourmet cooking ingredients that can't be found anywhere else. These materials are automatically added to your collection.
Check out our Ocean Cleanup hobby guide to learn how to unlock the hobby and level up quickly.
Where to find Azure
As always, Azure is a major seasonal event NPC throughout Call of Whales events.. She can usually be found outside Dorothee's Shop next to the Research Shop in Central Town. During the event, Azure will also appear at Whalefall Canyon Base Camp along with other event NPCs.
Azure purchases event materials in exchange for: Fashion Wave Token. These tokens can be used for limited-time rewards, such as clothing sets, furniture, emotes, decorations, and other cosmetics that disappear at the end of the event.
How to Find Big and Small Whales in Heartopia
Just like the Hot Spring Egg Promise quest Heartpia We were supposed to find one egg each day. One of the most enjoyable activities at this event is Daily hidden whale treasure hunt. Talk to Naughty to begin the Big Whales and Little Whales quests. Every day a different colorful whale appears somewhere in the underwater area.
After taking a photo of the whale, you will see bubbles containing decorative whale decorations floating around. When you pop a bubble, you can permanently receive that day's reward.
Always take a picture of the whale before finding the reward bubble. The bubble appears only after the photo is registered.
Call of all whale fish locations
Many new sea creatures will arrive during the event. Most can be caught anywhere in the Whale Sea, with special species appearing only in the Neritic Reef event. This event can be started by talking to Vanya.
While the Call of the Whale event is in progress, you will not be able to see Vanya in her usual spot. He can be found in Whalefall Canyon.
Here are all the fish you can catch during the Call of Whales season.
