Frieren Comics Announces Indefinite Suspension
Frieren comics won't be coming back anytime soon.
While most fans will have no problem with this particular version, there are some who prefer the dubbed version. For the first few weeks, there was no word on when the English dub would be released, but luckily Crunchyroll posted an update.
Frieren Season 2 Dub Release Date
According to the website, freeren The Season 2 English dub will air on February 6, 2026.. The second and third episodes will premiere simultaneously on February 13, 2026. Crunchyroll also shared the voice cast for the dub, which you can check out below.

Season 2 of Frieren only has 10 episodes.
Most fans already know the episode count for the second season of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. The new season will only have 10 episodes, which is a significant reduction from the first season. Many fans were angry at Madhouse's decision to make the series 10 episodes, but the studio made the decision after much deliberation. If the new season had been longer, it would have been too close to the comics. This would be a huge problem, especially since the comic is on indefinite hiatus. With all that in mind, it's safe to say that Madhouse made the right decision.
Despite the lower episode count, the new season is still of top quality, and that's all thanks to Madhouse. The studio has a history of producing amazing adaptations, so it's no surprise that Frieren's second season is already one of the highest-rated anime on MyAnimeList.
Frieren comics return date
There is currently no news of the comic's return. Because it was put on hiatus due to health issues with the author and illustrator, it may be months, maybe even years, before the series returns. However, all fans support a break because they want both Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe to return to full health.
