Jinwoo vs. Thomas Andre is without a doubt one of the best fights in the series. Because we get to see Seong Jin-Woo test his skills against the world's most powerful and recognized nation-level hunter, who could theoretically take down an entire nation with his strength alone. The video shows the beginning of the confrontation, with Jinwoo summoning an army of shadows and rushing to clash with Andre.

Seeing Sung Jin-Woo vs. Thomas Andre animated in video game style was incredibly exciting for all fans. However, it only further amplifies curiosity about the release of the animation. Fans are wondering when this fight will appear in the iconic TV anime adaptation of Solo Leveling from A-1 Pictures and Aniplex. As of now, there is no confirmation or exact indicator as to when fans can expect this fight to unfold.
According to a committee report believed to have been leaked in late 2025, the next Solo Leveling project will have a theatrical film release. While interesting, it probably means that a Thomas Andre vs. Jin Woo fight won't happen for another few years. There are limits to what a movie can adapt, and it would be a stretch to see it go beyond the Double Dungeon arc. Jinwoo vs Thomas Andre comes much later in the manga. According to our assessment of the current rate at which the story is being adapted, fans will have to wait at least 3-4 years for this anime battle. Assessing the power difference between Jinwoo and Andre
In terms of hunter rankings, both Jinwoo and Thomas Andre will naturally fall into the national level hunter category. Technically, Thomas Andre is recognized as a stronger national-level hunter than Christopher Reed and Liu Zhigang. Nevertheless, he is no match for Jinwoo. When Jinwoo faced Thomas Andre, he had already unlocked his Black Heart and awakened. Jinwoo's level would also have risen significantly compared to other battles, such as the clash in the double dungeon.
Despite Thomas Andre's Spiritual Body Manifestation, he is simply overpowered and easily defeated. Thomas is certainly far from Jinwoo's biggest challenge. However, it could be a big challenge for the current Jinwoo who appeared at the end of Season 2. Either way, Jinwoo is going to show why he is the best hunter in the world and why only the strongest monarch can stand up to him when a fight with the strongest national hunter becomes a reality.
