However, Overwatch 2 has amped up the frequency of crossover collabs happening in-game, with one usually taking place per season. These crossovers feature beloved Overwatch heroes dressing up in costume as various characters from other video games, anime, and pop culture titles and franchises. As these skins are often only available once through these collaborations, or for a very short period of time upon any returns, it has caused them to be some of the most highly-anticipated features of each Competitive Season, as well as the most favored collectibles for many players to try and obtain.
Saitama Doomfist
One Punch Man
- Release Date: March 7, 2023
- Available Through: Purchase in the Overwatch Shop during the One Punch Man crossover event.
One Punch Man was the first big crossover collaboration event to occur in Overwatch 2. As Doomfist’s character kit revolves around using various punching abilities, there’s little surprise that he was the recipient of a cosmetic resembling One Punch Man’s protagonist, Saitama.
The skin features Saitama’s iconic yellow jumpsuit and a white cape, complete with extra bundle items such as highlight intros and voice lines to reference Saitama’s characteristics, quotes, and moments from the show.
Mumen Rider Soldier: 76
One Punch Man
- Release Date: March 7, 2023
- Available Through: Could be earned by completing challenges during the One Punch Man crossover event.
Complete with a highlight intro featuring Soldier: 76 furiously pedaling away on his bike, the Mumen Rider skin was another addition to the One Punch Man x Overwatch 2 crossover collaboration event.
However, unlike the other skins featured in this collaboration, which players could purchase using Overwatch Coins in the Overwatch Shop, Mumen Rider was free to earn for all players during the One Punch Man event. To add this skin to their collection for Soldier: 76, players had to complete event challenges, which would earn them rewards such as Battle Pass XP, player titles, and of course, the Mumen Rider skin.

Mythic Aspects are a new item introduced in Overwatch 2’s Season 13, giving players another series of collectibles to work toward.
However, some fans were slightly disappointed with the skin, believing the Hair was not accurate enough to portray Genos well, as well as a lack of extras that would’ve tied everything together – such as a unique ultimate voice line, or even simply swapping the colors of Dragonblade from green to gold or fiery orange to better reference Genos’ characteristics and abilities.
Terrible Tornado Kiriko
One Punch Man
- Release Date: March 7, 2023
- Available Through: Purchase in the Overwatch Shop during the One Punch Man crossover event.
Last, but certainly not least is the Terrible Tornado Kiriko skin. When announced, this was a standout highlight from the Overwatch 2 x One Punch Man for many eager fans, who were excited about the idea of a cosmetic featuring Kiriko’s take on Tatsumaki’s character. In this concept, Kiriko’s ninja robe and training gear have been altered to resemble Terrible Tornado’s outfit from the popular animated show.
However, much like with Genos Genji, some fans were disappointed in the quality of the skin, believing Kiriko’s outfit could have been altered to better resemble the character, as the majority of the Terrible Tornado skin does not feature an exact replica, but rather an altercation and built-upon variant of Kiriko’s default skin.
Lilith Moira
Diablo
- Release Date: October 10, 2023
- Available Through: Purchase in the Overwatch Shop during the Diablo crossover event as part of Halloween Terror 2023.
Featured as the main skin for the 2023 Overwatch 2 x Diablo Halloween Terror crossover, is none other than the Lilith Moira cosmetic. This skin features core aspects of Lilith’s character designs, such as the iconic robe and horns.
Considering Moira’s villainous and cruel personality, many believe this to have been one of the best-suited crossover character combinations in Overwatch 2. Lastly, the skin is complete with a series of unique voice lines that occur upon certain actions, such as achieving kills, healing, and returning from spawn.
Inarius Pharah
Diablo
- Release Date: October 10, 2023
- Available Through: Purchase in the Overwatch Shop during the Diablo crossover event as part of Halloween Terror 2023.
Parallel to the Lilith Moira cosmetic is the Inarius Pharah skin. Resembling the rogue angel from Diablo, Pharah can be seen all geared up in armor that resembles his black robes, and wings that have been altered to mimic his glowing golden ones.
Also, a fun fact: similarly to the Devil Pharah skin from Season 5, if you use Pharah’s laughing emote whilst wearing the Inarius skin, she will cackle like a demon, instead of the usual laughter.
Azmodan Wrecking Ball
Diablo
- Release Date: October 10, 2023
- Available Through: Earnable through the Season 7 Premium Battle Pass, automatically unlocking after reaching Tier 20.
Without a doubt, the Azmodan skin for Wrecking Ball is one of the best cosmetics to have been released for the dive Tank throughout Overwatch 2. With beloved and sassy Hammond’s take on a new look to resemble the Lord of Sin, there are plenty of little details to admire.
From the glowing eyes and set of horns on his tiny little hamster head, to the coloration of his mech to perfectly mimic Azmodan’s legs, this Diablo skin was a welcome addition for any fan – especially as it could be earned through the Premium Battle Pass, other than through individual purchase.
Imperius Reinhardt

Her fox mask has been replaced with a vibrant pink beanie, her now dark blue hair has been tied back in a messy bun and is complete with eye-catching yellow highlights.

Antifragile Slay Star Sombra
LE SSERAFIM
- Release Date: November 1, 2023
- Available Through: Purchase in the Overwatch Shop during the LE SSERAFIM crossover event.
Sombra’s LE SSERAFIM skin does a great job of putting a K-pop-inspired spin on the resident Talon hacker, whilst also keeping that technology-inspired essence of her character. Her hair fades into a soft pale blue gradient with a white pixel-like effect, and her outfit almost has a futuristic, cyberpunk-inspired flair to it with little additions such as knee pads and gloves.
Plus, her gun has been painted white and features pastel pink, purple, and blue accents, completing her look.
Antifragile Traysi Tracer
LE SSERAFIM
- Release Date: November 1, 2023

In place of Tracer’s signature bright orange clothing, Antifragile Traysi utilizes more neutral tones with white, black, and gray shoes, complete with pops of that iconic orange, pastel pink, and blue. Her Chronal Accelerator has even been worked in with the rest of her outfit aesthetic to not look jarring or out of place in a concert setting, instead taking on the appearance of a prop or accessory.

Faye Valentine Ashe
Cowboy Bebop
- Release Date: March 12, 2024
- Available Through: Purchase in the Overwatch Shop during the Cowboy Bebop crossover event.

Cowboy Bebop

Cowboy Bebop
- Release Date: March 12, 2024
- Available Through: Earned by completing challenges during the Cowboy Bebop crossover event.
In this Cowboy Bebop x Overwatch 2 crossover concept, the lovable ball mech-operating hamster, Hammond, becomes the Data Dog, Ein. Both of these animals have greatly enhanced intelligence, so this cosmetic is rather fitting, and a nice touch to the Cowboy Bebop collaboration event.
Players could earn Ein Wrecking Ball for free by playing matches and completing challenges while the crossover event was live, which was a nice feature for those who wanted to acquire a Cowboy Bebop skin without spending any of their in-game currencies or purchasing with real money.

- Available Through: Purchase in the Overwatch Shop during the Cowboy Bebop crossover event.

This cosmetic replaces Sombra’s long purple locks and cybernetic enhancements with Ed’s orange hairstyle, whilst still keeping Sombra’s flair with the inclusion of the shaved side of her head – complete with one of Ed’s smiley faces as a decal. Perhaps the best feature, though, is the little Ein sitting in the pocket of the green coat Ed Sombra has tied around her waist.

Both her gun and mech have been repainted white, giving a much cleaner look in contrast to her usual hot pink tones.
Most importantly, though, this skin is equipped with some very satisfying sound effects that will make you feel like a real racer flying around the map each time you use D.Va’s booster.
