Travis Willingham, Critical Role CEO and voice of the Dispatch's Phenomaman, confirmed that he had heard nothing from AdHoc about plans for a second season of the game.
to us last year many It was one of the great video games, but Dispatch was one of the most amazing of them all. It certainly looked good when it first debuted, but the overwhelmingly positive response to the first few episodes quickly turned it into one of the biggest and most talked-about games of the year.
The Dispatch's sudden and massive success had everyone begging AdHoc for a second season, which seemed like the natural next step after it became a hit. AdHoc previously confirmed that they were considering Season 2 of Dispatch, but we've yet to hear anything about it since the first season ended. As it turns out, so does Travis Willingham.
Even the CEO of Critical Role hasn't heard anything about Dispatch season 2.
I guess we'll have to wait
Earlier this week, Comic Book Resources shared an interview with Critical Role CEO Travis Willingham and Laura Bailey, who plays Invisigal, on Dispatch. When asked about his wishlist for a second season of Dispatch, Willingham sadly confirmed that he “hasn't heard anything” about plans or a timeline for a “potential Dispatch 2.”

The star-studded cast of superhero workplace comedy Dispatch all have secret identities
Dispatch stars Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, and Alanah Pearce in the superhero adventure from former Telltale talent.
Willingham said he asked AdHoc before Dispatch even launched how big the world of Dispatch was and whether the team had any plans to do more with it. The team then looked at Willingham like he was a “fool.” I choose to believe that this means there really are more ideas out there for the Dispatch universe.
Willingham hasn't heard anything about Dispatch's plans for a second season, but he'd like to see “a little more of the motherfuckers” and see Malevola and Punch-Up “get going.” Key role CEOs will also want to know more about where they come from and why they joined SDN in the first place.
From what we've heard, it sounds like AdHoc isn't in any rush to start Season 2 of Dispatch and will take their time until they find the right idea. It's also worth noting that there's a Critical Role video game to work on, which might end up being the next project.
