How to Get Mythic Drops from the Butcher in Diablo 4 Season 13
Mythic generally has a slim chance of dropping from Lair Bosses, but Bloodied Butcher appears to offer a higher chance than usual. After defeating the Bloody Butcher, a treasure chest becomes available and players will need a Greater Lair Key to access the prizes inside. These chests contain unique items and possible Mythic rewards. Therefore, players will want to make sure they have obtained a few Greater Lair Keys from War Plans on Torment difficulty or from lesser nest bosses such as Beast in the Ice, Echo of Varshan, and Lord Zir before taking on the Bloody Butcher.
For the best chance at obtaining the Mythic item, players are recommended to farm the Bloody Butcher at Torment 10 or higher.
War planning can greatly increase your chances of obtaining mythic loot
The Bloody Butcher already appears to have a relatively high chance of dropping a Mythic at higher Torment tiers, but players can increase their chance of dropping a Mythic even further with the Lord of Hatred's new War Planning feature. As players progress through their war plans, they can unlock upgrades that can be invested in modifiers. Diablo 4A variety of endgame activities through the War Plan upgrade tree. Investing in the Lair of Plenty modifier to the left of the Lair Boss upgrade tree will grant players a +1 treasure chest when killing a Lair Boss. Additionally, investing in the middle upgrade path of the tree unlocks the possibility of Nemesis Lairs spawning after defeating the standard Lair Boss. In Nemesis Lairds, Diablo 4 Players will have to defeat two different minor lair bosses at once, but will be able to earn more items than ever before. The Greater Nemesis upgrade allows players to take on two Greater Lair Bosses at once after the previous Nemesis Lair has been defeated. Basically, this upgrade allows players to stack Lair Boss battles on top of each other to earn increasingly valuable rewards, including 10 treasure chests once the Ultimate Nemesis Lair is unlocked.
Once all upgrades are unlocked, Diablo 4 Players have crazy mythic farming paths. It may take some time to upgrade your Lair Boss War Plans to level 5 and unlock all the modifiers you need, but the rewards on the easy mythic farming path are well worth the investment.
