Dead by Daylight is no stranger to seeing cryptic teasers here and there, and they often keep their announcements fun as fans try to find out what's coming next. Once again, the game's social media team has released a new video on Twitter as part of the game's ongoing Blood Moon event, and as always, there's a snippet hinting at what's to come.
A video captioned Bound by Blood was shared this morning, with the video itself showing a drop of blood falling to the floor and into a much larger pool. Several faces appear to appear in this pool of blood, which could hint that more will be coming to Dead by Daylight in the near future. The characters are a little harder to make out, but one face in particular seems much more recognizable.
Dead By Daylight teaser hints at Eren Yeager skin
Watch the video above, and where the narrator says “unlimited war” (you can pause the video at the 8 second mark), you'll recognize a face that's almost familiar to anime fans. Many people seem to think that this smiling figure with long black hair is none other than the Titan form of Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan.
Dead By Daylight Dev rules out any future sequels or remakes.
Dead by Daylight will never get a sequel or remake because the developers are afraid of leaving fans of the game away.
Additionally, this isn't the first time Dead by Daylight has crossed over with Attack on Titan. A few years ago, a crossover added several skins to the game, including Mikasa, Eren (in human form), Armin, and the Armored Titan, so another Attack on Titan crossover wouldn't be out of place.
It's also worth noting that Eren Yeager's Titan has been a skin for Dead by Daylight games before, but it's for the mobile version of Trapper. Considering how iconic it is on Titan and how popular the skin will be, I could see Behavior introducing it into the main game for more people to enjoy it.
Of course, none of this is confirmed at this point, but it seems like a pretty solid guess. We'll have to wait and see if Eren Yeager is on his way to Dead by Daylight once again, and who the rest of the faces shown in the game's small teaser trailer actually are.
