Hint: It was in Ghosts.
Over its nearly 20-year history, Call of Duty has had no shortage of memorable multiplayer maps. Of course, there's also Rust from Modern Warfare 2 and the legendary 1v1 battles that took place there. Nuketown is still fondly remembered to this day, as is Hijacked in Black Ops 2.

Black Ops 6's Season of the Hunt is heavily inspired by Naughty Dog.
The “wide linear” design that gave us some of the best levels in Uncharted and The Last of Us has been brought to COD.
Of course, who can forget Crash from Modern Warfare, the game that started it all? No, not Modern Warfare. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
But just as there are iconic maps, there are also a number of bad maps. Red Card is currently the worst map in the series, drawing the ire of COD fans. Red cards aside, one Reddit user really wanted to know what the worst COD map of all time is.
If that map didn't exist
First and foremost, COD fans pretty much agree that Ghosts' “Stonehaven” is one of the worst maps. Some of it has to do with the size of the 6v6 arena, while others have to do with some unfortunate bugs that have occurred there.
“It took 5 business days to travel the map and when he died in the shootout it was a real killer (no pun intended lol),” one user joked.
Another disliked map is Euphrates Bridge from the Modern Warfare reboot. The map was bad enough that it seemed like it was removed from Modern Warfare's map selection pool.
Bog from the original Modern Warfare was another item fans disliked. The design often made the lobbies blocky, favoring sniper players with little other space. “I loved Bog, but I could have gone into their one-sided lobby,” one user said.
And in perhaps the most controversial comment, one Reddit user said Nuketown is the worst. I don't know why, but ouch. Clearly, there has to be something other than nostalgia for a map to sustain its revival.
Either way, the entire thread is worth a look, especially if you've been playing Call of Duty for a long time. Not only is this a trip down memory lane about some of the more disappointing elements of the series, but it's also a great way to remind us just how iconic this series is to many of us.
