Borderlands 4 fans think they've discovered DLC 2's Vault Hunter in a new Datamine.
Reddit user jakobsstate shared the following datamining findings: Borderlands 4We looked into the subtitles and found some unused dialogue that could be a reference to the next DLC, Vault Hunter. The name “Loveless” appears several times throughout the datamined subtitles, suggesting it may be the name of the Vault Hunter from DLC 2. It's unclear who or what these Loveless are, especially since they refer to themselves as “us”, but the fact that their name appears in so many dialogue options supports the theory that they are planned to be the second DLC Vault Hunters.
In the Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned DLC, the Mancubus character can make several different remarks about the game's Vault Hunter, including the one-line dialogue “It seems like we've been through an infinite loop. Ugh, Mistress Loveless.” Although it was initially believed that this was aimed at Borderlands 4's Vex, a newly revealed line of dialogue suggests that the “Loveless” Mancubus referred to here is a completely different character. This dialogue appears alongside other jokes directed at the game's Vault Hunters, so it's easy to see that this could be a teaser for a future playable character.
To further fuel this theory, user jakobsatet found the name Loveless in unused dialogue with the rest of the Vault Hunter's other variants. In an image posted to Reddit, the line “Yes! This is no love. We are Vault Hunters” can be found right next to a variation of the same dialogue about the existing Vault Hunter Rafa: “Yes! This is Rafa. I am a Vault Hunter.” Moreover, ‘We are Loveless. Another line was found: 'I'm looking for a girl named Ellie.' This line mixes up pronouns incorrectly, but it further solidifies the idea that Loveless is the playable character's name.

Comments on user jakobsestate's post are already offering theories about who these mysterious Loveless could be and how they might work as Vault Hunters. Some users suggest that this may be some kind of Hivemind, as the character uses the pronoun “we” when referring to himself, while others theorize that Loveless may be an Eridian Vault Hunter. Another possibility is that Loveless uses the royal family as some kind of status symbol. That means they can become more luxurious Vault Hunters. Borderlands: Free ChicI'm Aurelia Hammerlock.
