Call of Duty has always faced Pay-to-Win allegations. Last year, Merlin the Dog sparked controversy for barking and growling when near enemies, and previously certain purchasable skins and weapons appeared to give players an advantage.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Earns Double XP For 9 Days During The Holidays
To celebrate the festive season, Black Ops 6 is running a double XP event for nearly two weeks.
Less than two months after Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was released, claims about pay to win began to surface. Players have claimed that certain skins make it difficult to see what's happening on the battlefield.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 accused of containing paid skins
Black Ops 6's skins have already caused a bit of a fuss. Treyarch has stated that they will not be bringing any cosmetics from previous Call of Duty games over to this one. Strange sharks and other monsters were also added, and players discovered that each skin costs $50 worth of COD points. All in the name of “fun.”
However, the latest controversy stems from the fact that some skins can be used to impede enemy vision on certain maps.
In a thread on the Black Ops 6 subreddit, user Sopiate shared an example of how annoying these skins can be, saying he “really couldn't watch them.”
In Stakeout, a very small and fast-paced map, Sopiate spawns behind a huge pink and blue cloud that blocks your view of the next room. Just a millisecond after spawning, they were shot dead, the enemy hiding behind the clouds that spewed out through the doorway. The clouds were, of course, a result of the enemy's skin choice, and when the player died they would turn into these clouds, providing the perfect cover for the carnage to continue.
Sopiate's thread was filled with players bemoaning Activision and Treyarch's choice, with Ilmdgklls saying, “I'm so sick of this. I don't understand why people buy stuff like that in the first place.”
Thankfully, it's not all doom and gloom, and some players share that these annoying kill animations may be hidden by one of the game's settings. But that's beside the point, there's no need to do that in the first place.

Forced to become a rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a time of transition and upheaval in world politics, including the end of the Cold War and the emergence of the United States as a single superpower. With an engrossing story and no rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 campaign delivers dynamic, moment-to-moment gameplay with blockbuster set pieces and a variety of play areas featuring action-packed moments, dangerous heists, and cloak-and-dagger espionage.
In a best-in-class multiplayer experience, players will test their skills on 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and four Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of round-based Zombies, a fan-favorite mode that sees players take down hordes of the undead across two new maps at launch. After launch, players can expect even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences for both multiplayer and zombies.
