In Magiccon Atlanta, we got information about coming the Magic: The Gathering in 2026 Magic: The Gathering. The number of standard sets, which will be announced next year, will be announced again. Four of these are the universe beyond the set, and three occur in the magic Canon and its main stories.
There are many sets that need to be excited only for a few months of downtime between each set release. Some sets are more interesting than other sets. In particular, some are more interesting because of their re -visits to airplanes that have not been more than 10 years.
Universe beyond the set
What is it?
Seven sets were released, but there was nothing to show one of those sets. The only details we have is in March, which is officially released in New York Comic Con, and is beyond the set. In essence, it is the weakest set released in Magiccon Atlanta.
But there are some hints. The panel where the set is officially released has the talent of teenagers ninja turtles, and the panel is a crossover with Nickelodeon. They already worked with Nickelodyon with Avatar: The Last Airbender Set and Spongebob Secret Lair. It may not be TMNT, but many signs point it out.
Marvel Super Heroes
Second Marvel Set
Marvel Super Heroes is the second set in the collaboration of Magic's Magic, according to the first set used only to Spider-Man. Unlike that set, Marvel Super Heroes features both heroes and villains throughout the Marvel universe.
Hopefully, the set is a better element than the Spider -Man set, which is weak at several levels with game sculptures and collectors. Spider-Man did not provide much of what he wanted, so the reputation of the Marvel set was out of the wrong feet. But if Marvel Super Heroes get less narrower, it will probably turn your fame.
Star Trek
Go boldly
Star Trek is not the first to do it with sets such as Doctor WHO, Edge of Eternities and Unlity. STAR TREK is one of the largest and longest -lasting science franchises in history, so there are many history in the Magic set.
It will be interesting to see which STAR TREK series and movie will be suitable for cards. Like the Doctor WHO, there are more variations from animation to live action, but there are years of story to make a card. We only saw a few card art, but Star Trek is likely to be a great set.
Real fracture
Arc finale
In addition to the finale of the Story Arc, which began in the Lel Drain Set in 2023, it was not revealed about reality fractures. It is called “event set”. Here it was built on a larger magic story instead of a small group. The recent example of the event set is the march of the machine.
It is mentioned that there is no tone that is shown in reality fractures, but it contains things that are thought to be impossible. Some theories have a set of plane chaos that shows the characters of different reality. It will be interesting to see how the story arc is solved as JACE liberates Nicol Bolas and becomes a kind of goop.
Hobbit
Lotrequel
The Magic's Lord of the Rings set was the most sold magic set when it came out (the best title in the Final Fantasy set recently). Therefore, it is not surprising that MAGIC is falling back to the intermediate Earth by creating another set built around the Hobbit, the first part of the ring. But the hobbit is much smaller and there is only one book, not three.
The first set of lords of the ring was fantastic, but the Hobbit has a good foundation. Perhaps some cards will be tied to the cards found in the lord set of the ring. Hobits are very interesting unless there are other power cards such as One Ring.
Strixhaven's Secret
I go back to school
Strixhaven is a magic school on Arcavios's plane and is one of the best plans in magic in recent years. Originally, the STRIXHAVEN set provided a very interesting restriction format with a wonderful world construction element where Strixhaven's secrets could be expanded hopefully. This set also includes novels that have not been made since Iko Lia in 2020.
There are not many story elements about Strixhaven's secrets, but you can see some characters in the art of LORWYN ECLIPSED. As some signs of journey travel to the finale set, Strixhaven's secret is likely to be one of the great players.
LORWYN was enlarged
During the production period
LORWYN is one of the most beloved sets and has not been able to see the plane since the 2008 event. Originally, the LORWYN set has a fascinating day and night cycle that occurs every 300 years, and has a fascinating day and night cycle that converts the plane to ShadowMOOR (this was fixed at a regular day and night cycle during the event event event).
Since ShadowMOor was a “wicked” side of the plane, and Lorwyn is “good”, the two people who collide with each other in the merged world are very interesting and show through various double face cards that show the Lorwyn and ShadowMOor's side of the creature. The world is very unique among the magic plane and has a visually wonderful art direction, making it easy to see what LorWyn is in an echo.
