Add Spotify Integration to Forza Horizon 6 Mod

If there's one thing a good racing or sports title needs, it's a solid music playlist.

This is what made the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remastered so exciting, as fans waited to see if most of the original soundtrack would be included. Hint: It was. But the same couldn't be said for Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered, sparking a backlash.

When Forza Horizon 6 releases, it's no exaggeration to say that the soundtrack is the biggest absolute gem of Forza Horizon, spanning a number of different genres, including additions of neoclassical (Horizon Opus Radio), indie and alternative (Sub-Pop Records), and J-Pop/J-Rock (Gacha City Radio).

That said, if you don't like the music available in Forza Horizon 6 (there are dozens of them), one fan is working on a way to integrate his personal Spotify.

What started out as another strange move from Nintendo has grown into a killer music app.

It's a work in progress, but it has the potential to completely shake up Forza Horizon 6 to its core.

Spotify + Forza Horizon 6 is an elite combo waiting to happen.

As first shared on social media, the aptly titled “Spotify Radio” is a new mod from BigJohn0 that replaces the in-game radio with a personal Spotify account.

“This mod replaces one of the radio stations, mixes the song with game sounds and dialogue, and displays the artist and track name on the screen,” the account noted.

It requires Spotify Premium, so unless you subscribe to a paid tier, you're probably out of luck. It is reported that some security and integrity checks are currently in progress for Nexus Mods.

Assuming all goes well, we'll be integrating your personal Spotify radio into Forza Horizon 6, as the name suggests, to make your experience as personal as possible. Now that's really awesome.
