Key Takeaways
- The new Starfield mode revamps Shattered Space into a Star Wars game.
- It currently works by transforming enemies and NPCs into Star Wars characters.
- It even turns one of the planets into Korriban.
A Starfield modder is completely overhauling the Shattered Space DLC and turning it into an original Star Wars game. The mod I'm currently working on will not only change the assets to look like something out of Star Wars, but it will eventually change the dialogue as well.
As spotted by DSOGaming, this mod can be downloaded in its current format from Nexus Mods. Nexus user DeityVengy's Star Wars – Sith Empire Shattered Space Conversion is currently overhauling character models and names while also changing the environments. Additional features are being added.
Starfield Mod turns any shattered space into a Star Wars game.
There aren't many details about the project yet, other than that the modder wants to turn Shattered Space into “a full-scale Star Wars story involving the Sith Empire.” Future updates will include a Sith Temple with a complete “story rewrite and re-voice” and boss battles.
Currently, the mod adds new armor for you to wear and overhauls enemies and other NPCs to make them look like something out of Star Wars. It also changes Va'ruun'kai to Korriban to better fit into the Star Wars universe.

I love space games that no one else is playing.
We often end up playing space games. And just like that, people hate them. But I don't think they're that bad…
All of this comes from the same modder who turned the base game into a Star Wars experience with over 100 mods. The results were truly surprising, so it will be interesting to see how its Shattered Space counterpart performs after more work has been done.
Bethesda games have always amassed a huge modding community, so it's not at all surprising to see modders taking on such large-scale projects. There are currently less than 10,000 mods for Starfield available on Nexus, with a total of nearly 64 million downloads. As time goes by and Bethesda's official update rate slows down, we can expect this number to go much higher, as we've seen with the studio's previous games.

Starfield is the first new IP that Bethesda has released for the next-gen Xbox Series X|S and PC in 25 years. Set outside our solar system, you play as part of the Constellation, a group of explorers set out to discover new worlds.
