Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 Debuted in Japan in August 2025. It then began its global release a month later, allowing fans around the world to enjoy some of the most dangerous battles and intense battles in all of anime. Tanjiro and Giyu VS. After experiencing tremendous suffering, Shinobu waited to see Doma fall first and then passed by. The author's beautiful touch once again shows Hashira sending Doma to hell. Doma and Shinobu's conversation is very emphatic and needless to say, he is so impressed by the Insect Hashira's skills and tricks that he develops romantic feelings for her despite her previously cold personality. However, Shinobu was only offended by that confession, which only contained hatred in her heart. Nonetheless, as fans of Hashira, we found this moment in the manga to be really great. Because the return of our beloved Hashira will always be nice to see. Especially since he is a determined person like Shinobi, who sent the top rank 2 Doma to hell at his own great sacrifice.

Only after the conversation is over, Shinobu can enjoy peace and finally leave this world. Kanao will also have a brief vision of Shinobu joining her older sister Kanae and their parents in the afterlife years later because of Doma.
Demon Slayer's next release highlights Shinobu's key role in defeating Doma.
Insouke and Kanao were incredibly strong while fighting Doma. Kanao wielded Flower Breath to Hashira's level and Inosuke utilized his Beast Breathing to great effect. Both can be said to be Hashira level warriors. However, this alone would not have been enough to defeat Thomas. Doma greatly underestimated Shinobu, as her true goal was always to die, and during her death and being eaten by Doma, she always planned to destroy him from within with 37 kg of wisteria poison.
Without Shinobu's powerful poison, Tōma would have fought Inosuke and Kanao with all his might, and his regenerative powers would have been so great that he could have grown his head back if he had been beheaded. This is as seen in Advanced 1 Kokushibo and Advanced 3 Akaza. Even in their already weakened state, Inosuke and Kanao could barely stand it. Without Shinobu, this plan would have definitely failed and the remaining Demon Slayers would have had to waste more energy and numbers fighting Doma, dooming the entire operation and the final battle with Muzan.
Shinobu's actions will have a huge impact on Demon Slayer's final battle

Shinobu will also feature a morality play in his final film, Infinity Castle Part 3. At the end of the Demon Slayer story, Tanjiro is transformed into the next Demon Lord by Muzan. However, the day is saved thanks to Shinobu giving Kanao an anti-demon vial to use in case things go south. If Shinobu had not given this vial to Kano, the demon slayers would have had no way to turn Tanjiro back into a human. Tanjiro would have officially become the next Demon King, and since he was immune to the sun, the demon's wrath would have wiped out all of humanity. In that sense, Shinobu was undoubtedly the MVP of the entire trilogy. Her role even after death cannot be underestimated.
As of now, we don't know when. demon slayer Infinity Castle Parts 2 and 3 will be broadcast for the first time. However, the expected dates to see this movie are around 2027 and 2029 respectively. The wait is still long, but it will be worth it, especially with some exciting content about Hashira Shinobu coming in the future.
