V-Jump announces new news every month. boruto Chapters will be released around the 20th, and whenever a chapter is deleted, a preview will be released a few days in advance. This month was no different, and on June 13, 2026, V-Jump officially released the first preview of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 35. This chapter will continue the new arc that started last month with Chapter 34 on May 20, 2026. From the first chapter, it was very clear that the new arc would center on Sarada Uchiha's character. At the beginning of the arc, it is officially confirmed that Sarada Uchiha is slowly becoming blind due to overuse of the Mangekyo Sharingan.
“It appears that the prescription was wrong as I thought. My eyesight has definitely deteriorated compared to before. This is an inevitable risk with the Mangekyō Sharingan. Shortly thereafter, Cord's villainous plan to kidnap Sarada Uchiha was revealed, meaning she would be a key character in this arc that would have all eyes on her. The preview further solidifies Sarada Uchiha's arc by showcasing her as the only character in the first preview. Whichever way you look at it, Sarada Uchiha's character will get a lot of attention in Boruto: The Two Blue Whirlpool episode 35, and we're incredibly excited about it.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Volume 8 has officially confirmed Sasuke Uchiha's major power-up from the time skip.

In a new preview of episode 35 of Boruto: The Two Blue Whirlpools, which was officially released on June 13, 2026, Sarada Uchiha was seen wearing new glasses. These new glasses help alleviate the blindness identified in the previous chapter. In episode 34 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Sakura Haruno officially confirmed that Sarada needs new glasses because her eyesight has worsened. Ikemoto also gave fans a POV of Sarada showing blurred vision in the same chapter. However, his eyesight appears to have been temporarily restored thanks to new glasses that Sakura Haruno custom-made specifically for his needs.

As Sarada Uchiha donned her new glasses and headed back into battle, a kunai landed next to her. This kunai signals the start of an attack, and strangely enough, it has a spiral symbol on it. This spiral sign can only be linked to one entity in the world of Naruto and Boruto: the Uzumaki clan. For those who don't know, the Uzumaki clan has a whirlpool as their symbol because they come from the land of whirlpools. The kunai displayed by this swirl means that only Boruto Uzumaki can send this kunai to her, and the reason is very clear. Because Boruto Uzumaki wants to protect Sarada Uchiha.

In the series' previous chapter, V-Jump Issue #7, which was officially released on May 20, 2026, Code made it very clear that he intended to kidnap Sarada Uchiha, using her as bait to lure Boruto to the Shinju so he could be used as a sacrifice for the Shinju. To prevent Sarada from harm, especially when Sarada was weakened due to overuse of the Mangekyou Sharingan, Boruto Uzumaki sent her a custom-made kunai. By displaying the Uzumaki seal, Boruto can teleport to Sarada's side at any time to protect her. This seems to be the beginning of the protagonist's very clever plan.

Why Hidari and Code are expected to make a move in the new Boruto Arc
The final panel of the chapter shows Sarada Uchiha reacting to an incoming threat. The moment Boruto lands his kunai next to Sarada's feet, something comes running towards Sarada from behind. It's unclear what this is, but the most likely option is Code, who officially targeted her in the previous chapter. Code's goal is to kidnap Sarada. This means that the new arc will focus on her kidnapping and potentially her rescue, led by Boruto Uzumaki. At the same time, this arc will likely also focus on the plot surrounding Sarada Uchiha's blindness and the cure for it. Sarada needs to improve her eyesight and evolve out of her blindness no matter what, and this arc will likely be key to doing so.
More importantly, this arc is able to focus quite a bit on Hidari. With the fall of Mamushi of the Shinju villain group, the next person to take center stage is none other than Hidari, who is based on a clone of Sarada's father, Sasuke Uchiha. Potentially, Sarada could gain a significant power-up that would cure her blindness by fighting and beating Hidari. As the upcoming chapters of Boruto get closer, I can't wait to see how things move regarding Sarada Uchiha's character in the new arc.
Official release Boruto: Two Blue Swirls Chapter 35 is scheduled to take place on June 20, 2026, and hopefully, even more exciting events related to Sarada will be featured in this new chapter.
