Eri's fascinating one-shot story is scheduled to be animated in August.
The 'See More' special still follows Deku as the lead, but 'I Am My Hero Too' will take a different approach. 『I am my hero too』 is a work based on the one-shot from the My Hero Academia: Ultra Age: The Final fanbook, which was officially released on May 2, 2025. This fan book was created by Horikoshi, and it contains answers to many of the author's questions. Along with this, some character art and an additional Eri chapter were also presented. In this one-shot chapter, Eri shows quite a bit of growth.
Eri decides to visit UA High School to meet Deku and the others. Unfortunately Deku wasn't there, but Eraserhead was there. In this chapter, it is revealed that Eri chose music, which did not surprise fans. Although the story is short, it still reveals a lot of information. First of all, the new Pro Hero rankings are revealed here. Deku is revealed to have risen rapidly in ranking after acquiring the hero suit, becoming the fourth-highest hero in Japan, with Bakugo following him in fifth place.
It's only five pages long, so the upcoming episodes may be shorter than expected. It's also possible that Studio Bones will add new anime-specific content to make it a full-fledged episode. Either way, fans will be happy to see My Hero Academia return, even if only for a little while.
