Overwatch There's been no shortage of collaborations in recent months, with the crossover effort doubling down with the massive Season 1 relaunch. The Sanrio collab gets the ball rolling at the start of the season (and gives the Lucio main a hilariously spammy Keroppi voice line), and by mid-season it's getting the ball rolling for gamers. Nier Automata cooperation. The price point for these skins is debatable, but many people think that the actual game will be Nier: Automata Available for half the price of the full crossover bundle. The actual quality is undeniable. It's nice that the Mercy movement emote allows you to fly around on the pod, and it's a nice touch that the pod always follows along with 2B Kiriko.
In addition to the all-inclusive 6900 coin bundle, individual hero bundles cost 2800 Overwatch Coins. near Skins can also be purchased individually through the Hero Gallery for 1900 coins each.
The skins included in this collaboration feature all of the fan-favorite skins, plus a White Commander skin from the game's resident skin seller, Mercy. Vendetta swings a clean buster sword with A2, putting Emil's face near the hilt. Kiriko and Ouyang sport their signature blindfolds as 2B and 9S, and 2B's skin looks especially good in first person thanks to the feathers on Kiri's arms. Lifeweaver rounds out the collaboration skins with the ADAM outfit, ensuring the most popular androids are fully represented. Overwatch. But even though all of these skins are undoubtedly well-made, it's hard not to notice the elephant in the room. Nier: Automata All about machines.

The premise of NieR: Automata actually requires omnic skins. Super cute looks from Bastion and Ramattra tie the collaboration together. Near IP instead of polishing Android.
OverwatchA diverse lineup of Omnic heroes like Orisa, Echo, Ramattra, Zenyatta, and Bastion would have been natural cosmetic candidates based on the Machines, the beloved enemies that 2B and 9S battle. automataThis is your story. Of the options here, the two that stand out as having the most potential are Ramattra and Bastion. Considering that none of these heroes have Mythic skins and haven't received much love in the collab scene since then. transformerIt would have been nice to see them get one of these costumes:
For Bastion, a skin based on the adorable, peace-loving NPC Pascal would have been really cool. Personality-wise, he's a great fit for Bastion. Just as a damage hero can wreak havoc in turret form, he's friendly whenever he's not forced into combat. Cosmetically, not much needs to change from Pascal's basic steampunk look. Because it fits very naturally into Bastion's base form. For turret mode, simply throw Pascal's signature glowing eyes somewhere on your model and the design will remain intact. The only question is what Bastion's new Ganymede will look like. Probably some kind of machine. But the fact that Pascal shares Bastion's love of nature means that an actual bird of some sort is viable.
For Ramattra, one of the adorable Stubbies would be a perfect fit. In particular, it is a shape-shifting Medium-Quadruped that utilizes Ramattra's signature mechanism. I think the dome-shaped head looks cute. Overwatchfollows the art style of , although it takes some freedom to come up with designs for Ramattra's employees. near– The inspired look probably wasn't that difficult for Blizzard to think of. It's unclear why there isn't a mech skin in this collaboration, especially if it features a minor character like Commander White. Super cute looks from Bastion and Ramattra tie the collaboration together. near IP instead of polishing Android.
Despite this missed opportunity, Overwatch's NieR collaboration is a triumph
While it would have been nice to see some mech love when it comes to skins (perhaps an event mode or special challenges to make the crossover stand out even more), there's still something very nice about it. Vendetta's A2 skin is cool enough that some players will consider learning a melee hero just to use it, while Mercy's deep cut cosmetics look great even if someone doesn't have a soft spot for it. near. The obtainable Emil amulet is also a fun bonus reward to track, similar to the accompanying Morgana amulet. OverwatchThis is Persona 5 skin. In the end, it would have been really nice to see OverwatchOmnics are doing something near There's a lot to appreciate about the content players actually get through cosplay.
