The Legend of Zelda It's full of strong characters, both male and female. While the latter has strong representatives in the form of Hylia and Zelda herself, the former has little shortage of heroes and villains who could shape the fate (or geography) of Hyrule. Link, Ganon, and Vaati are just a few of them. zelda's strongest male character, and may not be the absolute strongest in the franchise.

in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit TrackByrne helps Chancellor Cole resurrect the demon Malladus. If done successfully, Byrne attempts unsuccessfully to gain power from the demon, which attacks Byrne in response and nearly kills him. But when an ancient demon takes over Zelda's body, only Byrne can defeat her.
At the end of the game, Byrne puts his evil past behind him and uses his powers to prevent Malladus from re-entering Zelda's body at the cost of his own life. As seen in his battle with Link, Byrne can wield magic and attack with the claws he holds in his hands. He can also summon and wield energy blasts, similar to the Master Sword.

in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the WildDaruk was one of the four champions tasked with piloting the Divine Beast to defeat Calamity Ganon. In addition to being a powerful Goron wielding the legendary Boulder Breaker, Daruk could throw a shield of red crystallized rock around his body to block attacks known as “Daruk's Protection”.
Despite his power, Daruk was no match for Fireblight Ganon of the Divine Beast Vah Rudania. When Link defeats the same enemy, the Spirit of Darhk grants the hero the “Guardian of Daruk” ability, which can be used in battle.

Minish Vaati becomes a powerful wizard after stealing the Mage's Cap, a garment created by Vaati's master Ezlo that can grant powers to those who wish. But it's not just the wizard's hat that gives Vaati his powers. Increasingly fascinated by dark forces, the villain quickly hones his skills and becomes a threat to the Minish and Hyrulians.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds It introduces players to the world of Lorule, a mirror image of Hyrule. Princess Hilda is Princess Zelda's counterpart, and the evil wizard Yuga is a reflection of Ganondorf. Yuga has an ambition to resurrect the Demon King, and to do so, he must hunt down the descendants of the Seven Sages in addition to Zelda.
Yuga can conjure all kinds of magic with his wand, but what is most notable is his ability to transform people into art. He can trap his enemies in frames, incapacitating them, and transform himself into a painting. When Yuga eventually fuses with Ganon, his magical power increases to the point where he can wield magic without using a staff.

These powers include the ability to change people's appearances and Termina's weather, the ability to fly, and even the ability to curse large swaths of land. in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the KingdomRauru is introduced as the source of Link's right arm when he awakens on Sky Island. However, it is soon revealed that in this timeline, Rauru is the founder of the kingdom of Hyrule, along with his Hylian wife, Sonia. The Rauru are a Zonai, a race believed to be direct descendants of the gods. These gods gave them secret stones that enhanced the abilities of gifted individuals.
Rauru, the sage of light, has tremendous power and can seal away darkness. He uses this power to trap Ganondorf beneath Hyrule Castle for centuries, sacrificing himself in the process. Only when Link and Zelda encounter this scene does Rauru's power break, allowing Link to gain Rauru's arm and gain god-like powers.

Legend of Zelda's final villain and all Ganon forms could destroy Hyrule
Just as Princess Zelda is the mortal incarnation of the Goddess Hylia, Ganondorf is the human incarnation of the Demon Lord Demis. He also possesses the Triforce of Power, which grants him the ability to transform into an omnipotent monster, often in the form of a giant boar. However, even in human form, Ganondorf is massive and physically strong, dwarfing the size of Zelda and Link due to his Gerudo blood.

Ganondorf seems like an unstoppable force, but he has one weakness. This is the Master Sword. Link has had many incarnations, but most have successfully overcome some sort of evil. avatar Tears of the Kingdom He is powerful, having suffered a massive amount of Gloom during his first fight with the mummified Ganondorf. Link's power grows exponentially in this game. That's because Rauru, the first king of Hyrule, granted Link an arm imbued with the powers of the Zonai.
Although Link has no superpowers, he shows an aptitude for handling any given situation with minimal health and stamina, and is quick to learn new skills and powers he encounters. Imbued with the spirit of a hero, Link possesses the Triforce of Courage and can wield the Master Sword, the only weapon capable of defeating true evil, most commonly some version of Ganondorf.
In terms of raw power, Ganon is stronger than Link. But Hyrule's heroes have defeated villains dozens of times over the years. It's hard to justify placing Ganon higher.

Despite only appearing as a villain in one game, Demise is the source of almost all the evil that plagues Hyrule. The original Demon King unleashes a death curse that directly creates endless incarnations of Ganon, making him responsible for the latter's continued existence. Even after the final destruction skyward swordDemise's influence remains forever, and his hatred traps Hyrule in a cycle of disaster and conflict.
Unlike every other villain in the franchise, Demise's initial defeat required the participation of a literal god. He almost conquered the world long before Hyrule existed, and the goddess Hylia had no choice but to seal him away at that point. Even more than Ganon, Demise is the embodiment of pure primordial evil, commanding demons and dark magic.
