Fortnite's Respawn Rumble mode isn't really the most popular, but it suddenly exploded yesterday with a lot of players joining in. But they weren't there to actually play the game mode, they were there to take advantage of a glitch that gave them tens of thousands of XP points for doing absolutely nothing. This glitch gave away enough XP to clear the entire battle pass in a few hours.
As VideoGamer noted, Fortnite's Respawn Rumble mode rarely got 1,000 concurrent players per day, but after the flaw was discovered, that number soared to over 12,000. It's so simple to execute that it can't even be called an exploit at this point.
How to Do Fortnite's Respawn Rumble XP Glitch
There really isn't much to do. All you have to do is load up the Respawn Rumble mode and quit it as soon as you get on the bus. You can then see Epic giving you over 35,000 XP for doing nothing other than taking a short bus ride. You can repeat the process as many times as you like to keep your XP and complete the Battle Pass.
Obviously, Epic had no intention of handing out free XP in that way, so we can only expect the developers to apply a patch as soon as possible. Hopefully, it won't take away any XP you've already earned in the process. This is clearly some kind of glitch. Maybe the intention was to give you XP to try out the mode, but no one actually plays it to the end.
Fortnite has once again proven why it is the future of video games.
Epic Games delivered one of Fortnite's best live events with the fantastic Zero Hour.
To say Fortnite has been popular over the past decade might be an understatement. However, it topped the list of most played console games in 2024 and 2025. Call of Duty won on Xbox in 2024, but found itself back on track in every way in 2025. This year, the Arc Raiders have shown some serious stick, so they may have to compete with another shooter. In fact, Shroud thinks it will soon overtake Epic's juggernaut.
