Earlier this year, a leak purporting to be Teraleak 2 revealed several key details: pokemon Gen 10 and a new leak have revealed several features coming to the game. One of the latest is our first look at the beta map. pokemon Gen 10 name leaked Pokemon Wind/Pokemon Wave. It is currently unknown whether the title is plural or not.
Please note that these are beta descriptions for the region and may change significantly prior to release. But given pokemon Gen 10 is inspired by Southeast Asia/Indonesia, and the bones of the map will likely be very similar to the official release.
Pokemon Generation 10 is inspired by Southeast Asia/Indonesia
As posted by CentroLeaks, this map is inspired by its close similarity. Followers of the leaker have noted that many of the islands haven't changed much in the real world, but there's a chance this will change. It's essentially taken the Indonesian islands and the Malay Peninsula and rearranged them, but the rest looks very familiar. Some notable landmarks include, but are not limited to:
-
Sumatra
-
Java
-
new guinea
-
Kalimantan
-
Borneo
-
Sulawesi
-
southern thailand
-
part of australia
-
and many more
Other notable aspects of the map include volcanoes in the region's core, the inclusion of desert areas and snow mountains (all major elements), and possibly the inclusion of Sulawesi. For those unfamiliar, Sulawesi is known for its extreme endemism, where species evolved in isolation and exist nowhere else on Earth. “Isolated Evolutions” was not leaked. pokemon If it's Gen 10 but features unique regional evolutions, that's probably the best inspiration. And according to the meme, this region has a lot of water, just like Hoenn or Alola. But that's expected.
The inclusion of Borneo and rampant water feels like evidence to support my theory. pokemon The Gen 10 Water Starter is based on the Proboscis Monkey. Previous leaks and other evidence point in that direction, but a general map makes it clear just how much of a role islands and oceans will play. Pokemon Wind/Pokemon Wave.
For now, fans just have to wait and see what changes come in this beta version. pokemon Generation 10 is scheduled to be revealed on Pokemon Day in February, and will most likely be released in the fall of 2026. While it's undoubtedly nice to get a glimpse of this region before then, the biggest question on everyone's mind that hasn't been leaked yet is what the new Pokemon actually look like. Well, fans will be months, if not a year away from that. But it will be interesting to see how new regions continue to form.
