However, the service has now been split into three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. The former still offers the same benefits, while Extra and Premium subscribers get access to additional content, including a monthly rotating game catalog, cloud streaming, classic game catalog, and more.
The latest versions of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games are now available in the UK and Europe, and will be released to US subscribers later today.

Once redeemed, you can keep all five games as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription. Subscribers have until January 5th to claim the title before the new game launches.
There are plenty of new games to check out today, but December 16th is also a sad day for PS Plus Extra and Premium. That's because a ton of titles are being removed from the service.
