Sony's PlayStation-exclusive subscription service has grown to become one of the most popular choices in gaming over the past few years, alongside its biggest competitor, Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft has long offered subscribers access to new games every month, but PlayStation didn't offer a catalog of games until it revamps its service in 2022. Originally, PS Plus offered users three new titles available each month, which could remain as long as the subscription was active. It also included cloud storage, online multiplayer, and more. However, the service has now been split into three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. The former still offers the same benefits, while Extra and Premium subscribers get access to additional content, including a monthly rotating game catalog, cloud streaming, classic game catalog, and more.

The latest versions of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games are now available in the UK and Europe, and will be released to US subscribers later today.
