Locked rooms, such as the dam control center in the dam battlefield, can contain potentially very valuable loot. ARC RaidersBut where there is loot, there is danger. These rooms often don't have a lot of foot traffic, but if you run into another player nearby, there's a very good chance you'll get shot. Luckily, the locked room in the control tower is fairly easy to access, provided you have the appropriate key. ARC RaidersYou can take all the valuables inside with you.
Where to get the Dam Control Tower Key in ARC Raiders
To get inside the dam's control room, you must: Search for Research Administration BuildingIt's right next to the control tower. There is a chance that the desk drawer on the second floor contains a key to a locked room somewhere, including rooms on other maps such as the Blue Gate's impound room.
Research and management are high-value fields, so it's very likely that you'll encounter at least a few players. If you don't want to risk fighting, or if you spawn somewhere northwest of the dam battlefield, I recommend searching for: Sunroof POI by Ruby Residence, Pale Apartments and Ben Welder. We had good luck getting the key at this location, but since there is a player spawn point near here, if you spawned anywhere else you'd be left with nothing to loot.

Where to use the Dam Control Center key in ARC Raiders
This key is used to open Control room at the top of the control tower POI. It can be reached by climbing a long elevator shaft to the northeast of the POI map border, and can be accessed through the following methods:

Approach the control tower Red Lakes Balcony Exit Point. There is a door at the bottom of the tower that leads to the control room.

face Research Administration Building Main GateBut don't go inside. Instead, go right Follow the long hallway to the end. Open the door there to reach the elevator shaft.

If you start from the north or northeast, you can reach the control tower base. past the lake bottom. Follow the floodgates until you reach an open sewer grate.
There may be a machine gun turret protecting the upper half of the elevator shaft. If you see lights/lasers shining from above, take them out first or use smoke bombs to block their advance. Otherwise, you are bound to get hurt. Once the turret is gone, use the zipline to reach the top of the shaft.
If you start from the bottom, take the second zipline up and you will reach the dam control center. Use the keys to open the rooms and take home as much loot as possible. The more safe pockets you have, the better.
Once you have the loot, you can return to the Red Lakes Balcony Elevator and extract it there. If you want to avoid other players, there is a Raider Hatch just north of the Red Lakes elevator.
