Gears of War: Reloaded started with a pretty bad start and opened a “mixed” review of steam by calling everything from performance issues and constant conflicts to missing pre -order items.
It is just scratching the surface. The matchmaking problem is another major dissatisfaction, and the remaster was advertised on the steam page to support the split screen cooperative, but all the reference was removed a few hours before the launch, and the final game has no such features. Needless to say, fans are not happy.
Only 49 %of the reviews are positive.
“Let's release the game when the game is over.” Read a review. One fan simply says. “Bora, remaster's remaster. PC port's PC port!”[In] The current state cannot be played. Very unstable and many conflicts occur.
Microsoft confirmed that it is a “perception” of these issues, emphasizing the missing pre -order items and a matchmaker's comfort, and “investigating” as we say, but there is no word that can be expected to revise or opinion on the split screen debate.
In the meantime, a fan has collected a convenient guide on how to play the game every time he plays 'play' (for any reason it seems to occur when you set it to 'Ultra' graphics).
Gears of War Fixed: Re -relocation crash at starting
As Sylvie explained in their review: you need:
-
Go to C: \ users \ (user name) \ AppData \ Local \ Coalition.
-
Delete the 'Wargame' folder.
-
Start the game again.
However, if you log in to your Microsoft account, the game will be stopped when you start again. In other words, you cannot access the multiplayer until the patch is released. It's not ideal, but at least this solution allows you to play games that spend $ 39.99.
