If you think Duke Nukem died and became Sarah as a franchise, think again. Duke will return, not the way you think, when ADI SHANKAR, which has brought life to Castlevania and the recent Devil May Cry, has a right to franchise.

Devil May Cry 5 did not spend a day
Due to Netflix's TV show, Devil May Cry suddenly gained popularity. We returned to DMC 5 to see if it passed the test of time.
In an interview with ESquire, SHANKAR said that while approaching several IPSs, Gearbox, not recent game rights, purchased the right to Duke Nukem IP.
When asked how his vision for Duke Nukem adaptation, SHANKAR said:
It is the middle finger for everyone. When Duke Nukem exploded, many people tried to turn into a brand when they were in the middle. Duke Nukem cannot be created by the company. The moment the company makes Duke Numu, it is no longer Duke. I don't want to tell someone what to do about this.
Since SHANKAR is now handing out several projects, it is not clear when the potential adaptation of the shooter will be released now. But one thing is clear. He understands why he creates Duke Nukem.
SHANKAR quickly became a video game adaptation manager
SHANKAR has a few different projects in the work, in addition to his work on the recent Green of Season 2, Devil May Cry, and all rotates around video games.
In 2017, SHANKAR was found to manage animations centered on assassin's Creed franchise. I'm not sure if the project is still in progress, but I refer to this in the article. In other places, the Hyper Light Drifter was also announced as an adaptation with SHANKAR. If not enough, in 2021, PUBG was found to be adapted by SHANKAR.
In other words, SHANKAR is very busy and touches many projects. I literally say nothing in the next list.
