The Dragon Ball franchise is no stranger to power scaling. In fact, many fans attribute much of the culture of power scaling in large part to this series' influence, due to how it deals with characters, power-ups, and techniques.

Over the course of the series, fans have seen many incredible techniques that are strong enough to destroy entire planets. There are some attacks that are exceptionally powerful for the world of Dragon Ballbut the strongest among them can one-shot the person they are used against.

The Death Ball Managed To Destroy An Entire Planet

Over the years, Frieza has proven himself to not only be the best and most iconic villain in the entire Dragon Ball story, but also the most powerful. In his first appearance during the Namek Saga, Frieza showed his strength with the Death Ball, which was his strongest attack in multiple forms.

The most famous use of this destructive attack was when Frieza used it against the entire Saiyan race, effortlessly creating a ball of Ki that grew to the size of an entire planet. When it was fired off into Planet Vegeta, it ended up destroying it quite easily and effectively erased the Saiyan race from existence, making it an incredibly powerful attack.

The Final Flash Is Vegeta's Ultimate Attack

Over the course of the series, Vegeta has created some of the most powerful techniques, chief among them being his legendary Final Flash. Although the charge-up time for this attack is its main drawback, its ultimate power is immense, allowing Vegeta to raise his overall strength by many levels when using it.

The best example of the Final Flash's power was when Vegeta used it against Perfect Cell and Jiren, both of whom were leagues stronger than him at the time. Although he had to goad his opponents into taking it head-on due to its long charge time, it dealt both foes a great deal of damage and almost completely erased Perfect Cell, which shows how strong the Final Flash truly is.

The Final Explosion Kills Its User In The Process

When Babidi reawakened the evil in Vegeta's heart, the process also gave him a significant power-up while in his Super Saiyan 2 form. The result was Majin Vegeta; one of the greatest additions to the entire franchise. Eventually, Vegeta would regain his sanity in hopes of defeating Majin Buu, which he almost did due to his legendary Final Explosion attack.

Essentially, this technique comprised of Vegeta gathering all of his energy into himself and letting it out in a violent burst that not only obliterated his enemy, but also killed himself in the process. The only reason Buu survived was due to his cellular regeneration. Vegeta would later refine this technique so as to not die after using it, which he used successfully against Toppo.

The Super Spirit Bomb Finally Put An End To Buu

At the closing moments of the Buu Saga, Kid Buu proved to be the greatest threat that the heroes had ever faced as he matched Super Saiyan 3 Goku in strength and his wild nature made him completely unpredictable. Ultimately, Goku used the Super Spirit Bomb to put him down for good.

Although the Spirit Bomb has been used multiple times in the story, it often hasn't gotten the job done in terms of defeating the foe it was used on. However, the Super Spirit Bomb changed this trend, as the extra power boost Goku got from going Super Saiyan made the attack even stronger and finally erased Kid Buu from the face of the universe.

The Special Beam Cannon Has The Strongest Piercing Damage Ever

User: Gohan

Although the Special Beam Cannon is the legendary and iconic signature move of Piccolo, the strongest version of the attack was seen at the end of the Super Hero arc in the hands of Beast Gohan. By finally unlocking a form on the same level as Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego, Gohan fired off the greatest piercing attack in Dragon Ball.

While most Ki attacks tend to be destructive and wide-spanning blasts of energy, the Special Beam Cannon instead prioritizes focusing all the user's energy onto a narrow point so that it can penetrate whatever target it is used on. Of course, the major caveat with it is the insanely long charge-up time, but once it is used, nothing can stop it.

The Beerus Ball Uses Energy Of Destruction

While in his Ultra Ego state, Vegeta unlocked a whole host of powerful new abilities, with the chief among them allowing him to finally utilize the Energy of Destruction. Because of this, he could coat his regular Ki attacks with this energy, essentially turning them into anti-matter bombs that could erase anything that they came into contact with.

The greatest version of this was seen in his fight against Granolah, where he raised up his arms as if he were performing a Spirit Bomb in order to create a massive ball of Ki that was coated in the Energy of Destruction. Although this attack was overwhelmed by Granolah's own beam, it was due to the latter's ascension to a new state and his classification as the strongest in the universe, which really shows how strong this attack truly was.

The Limit Ultra Kamehameha Almost Erased Broly

In the Broly arc, Gogeta made his long-awaited canon debut and proved himself to be the greatest fusion that exists in the entire series. Once he underwent his Super Saiyan Blue transformation, he didn't concede a single hit from his opponent and almost erased him completely with his strongest attack, the Limit Ultra Kamehameha.

Also known as the Full-Force Kamehameha, this attack is, by far, the most powerful version of the iconic blue Ki wave that has ever been shown in the series. Unfortunately, its true power could never truly be seen, since Broly was wished out of its trajectory at the last moment, but Whis even implies that if it had connected, the fight would have been over on the spot.

Hakai Is The Greatest Offensive Technique In The Series

User: All Gods of Destruction

The calling card of a Destroyer God is their ability to use Hakai, which is the power that gives them this classification in the first place. Essentially, due to the overflowing destructive energy that they have within themselves, the Gods of Destruction can easily erase anything from existence, regardless of scale or complexity.

While this is endemic to the Destroyers, the most frequent, and best, use of the technique came through Beerus himself, who was shown to destroy entire planets with a tap of his finger, or when he erased a conceptual being from existence. While all attacks do carry some sort of power, they all pale in comparison to the one technique that can erase anything from existence with ease.
