Of course, various powerful characters appeared depending on the era. But in the present era one pieceOnly a new generation can stand the test of time. That said, there are many old characters who are still very strong in the current One Piece era. Unfortunately, they cannot be considered to be at the peak of their power, and as time goes on, their legendary powers have waned over the years.

Tsuru is known as one of the wisest characters. one piece. Within the Navy, she was part of a special generation that fought at the same time as Roger. Tsuru is a lieutenant general known to be incredibly strong. Although he is much older now, he used to scare Doflamingo when he was young.

As a lieutenant general, he can at least use both armament and observation Haki. She also has the power of the Paramecia type Woshu Woshu no Mi, making her a powerful foe for anyone to take on in battle. Back in her day, Tsuru was definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Sengoku

Former Marine Corps Commander Sengoku is a very underrated character. Oda has repeatedly emphasized that he is incredibly dominant, and that his status alone makes him special in many ways. He wields all three types of Haki, making him the second Marine to be able to control all types except Garp. Sengoku is also a user of Hito Hito no Mi, model: Daibutsu. This is an incredibly powerful mythical Zoan fruit that can transform him into a giant golden Buddha and generate shock waves.

His strength was such that Roger considered him a worthy opponent. Whitebeard also has a history of fighting against him, which shows that he was a monster in his prime. But now he is quite old, which means his strength has weakened.

Big Mom is a very powerful pirate and former emperor of the seas. Big Mom was very impressive during her time as a villain on the series, but it's safe to say that she's well past her prime at this point. Her strength isn't what it used to be, and that's one of the biggest reasons why she fell like that.

Big Mom is from the same era as Whitebeard and Roger, which essentially means that age has had a huge impact on her powers. Despite this, she was able to fight admirably against the Worst Generation, and if it weren't for a plot convenience, she would have won the battle.

Silvers Reilly

Rayleigh, the first mate of the Roger Pirates, is a legendary figure comparable to the Yonko. We know that he is an incredibly powerful man despite his old age. In his prime, Reilly would have been a force no one could rival.

But now he is well past his prime. He can take down most characters, but he can't compete with characters like the Yonko, and we saw this recently when he tried to face off against Blackbeard. Despite everything, Rayleigh can utilize all three types of Haki, two at an advanced level. He is also a very skilled swordsman, and fans know him to be one of the strongest men in the world.

Scoper Gavan

• Power: Hockey 3

Scoper Gaban was recently introduced. one piece Elbaf is one of the strongest characters. Shortly after his debut, he showed off his ability to skillfully use three types of Haki, including effortlessly pushing Luffy, one of the Yonko, away. His power is so great that Elbaf considers him invincible.

Gaban is on par with Rayleigh and in the same league as Roger the Pirate King. He can see the future, use advanced weapons, and even use advanced Conqueror's Haki. He can easily defeat several paladins and was even able to take on King Harald 14 years ago.

Monkey D. Garp

Legendary Marine Lieutenant General Garp is known as one of the most powerful characters in One Piece. He is historically the most powerful figure in the Navy. Garp doesn't have a devil fruit and all he relies on in battle is Haki. He commands all three Haki types with great control, and fans have seen him utilize the advanced Conqueror Haki during his raid on Pirate Island.

Garp is a force to be reckoned with. Even in his old age, he was able to defeat and subdue nearly half of the Blackbeard Pirates by himself. Garp in his prime was a monster who could fight Roger on equal footing. But it has definitely weakened a lot now. Once again, this is something he personally confirmed.

Whitebeard, the World's Strongest Man, was a character far beyond his prime when he took part in the Paramount War. Despite being clearly the strongest being in the world at that point, Whitebeard was far beyond his prime. In fact, he wasn't even able to utilize the power of Haki the Conqueror in combat, showing that he wasn't as much of a threat as he could have been.

Even his Observation Haki didn't work as well as it did during the Paramount Wars. His illness began at various points and he suffered great hardships, receiving serious injuries from people like Akainu. Although he fought like a monster, defeating Sakazuki and fighting the entire navy almost single-handedly, this was not a demonstration of his true power. In his prime, like Roger, he would have been on a completely different level.
