My Hero Academia: 5 Popular Anime Featuring Deku's Voice Actor You've Heard About

You all probably know Deku's voice actor, Daiki Yamashita, but do you recognize him from other popular anime?

Protecting Nezuko from Inosuke

Inosuke and Zenitsu's friendship did not get off to a good start. The two have always had different personalities, but I have to give props to Zenitsu for standing up to the much more aggressive Inosuke right after meeting him. Inosuke sensed Nezuko inside the box, realized she was a demon, and attempted to kill her, but was stopped by Zenitsu.

Although he knew that Tanjiro harbored a demon, Zenitsu trusted his new friend and decided to protect Nezuko from Inosuke's attacks. He receives a severe beating from Inosuke, but never backs down, showing how tough he is. It may not be as impressive as defeating a demon, but Zenitsu really gets his chance to shine here.

Help in the fight against Enmu

Enmu proved to be a tough challenge early on for the Demon Slayer trio. Lesser 1's ability to control people's dreams made him a unique challenge for our protagonists, but by working together, they were able to succeed. You might have expected Tanjiro and Inosuke to be strong hitters in this matchup, but Zenitsu also showed surprising potential.

Ironically, putting Zenitsu to sleep was the worst thing Enmu could have done. Zenitsu's instincts kicked in while he was sleeping, making him a much more difficult opponent to deal with in that situation. Not only did he play a big role in saving the people sleeping on the Mugen Train, but he also succeeded in helping Nezuko once again.

Defeating the Tongue Ear at the Tsuzumi Mansion

This is Zenitsu's first major battle in the series and serves as a glimpse into his potential. The two people who were wandering through the halls of the Tsuzumi residence with Shoichi are attacked by Tongue-Ears, and they are not very noticeable to Zenitsu. His cowardice and incompetence are fully revealed, and he eventually faints from fear. Thankfully for both of them, it was the best thing that could have happened.

Zenitsu, now asleep, easily deals with the Tongue Demon by sheer instinct, first cutting off its tongue and then finishing by decapitating it. This was certainly an unexpected turn of events, but it showed fans just how strong Zenitsu could be if he could overcome some of his less disadvantaged traits.

Defeat the Son Spider Demon

Some moments on Mount Natagumo are pure nightmare fuel. You can guess how Zenitsu reacted when he met a member of the twisted spider family. Son Spider Demon seems to enjoy torturing and taunting Zenitsu, eventually injecting him with a poison that will transform him into a spider. But once again, the devil's ability caused Zenitsu to fall asleep, and Zenitsu was saved.

Just as Son Spider Demon thinks he has won, Zenitsu turns the tables and attacks him, catching him off guard. Son Spider Demon seemed like a formidable opponent because of this, but Zenitsu was able to overwhelm him with incredible speed. Soon, Son's arrogance gives way to fear and he attempts to retreat, giving Zenitsu the perfect opportunity to deliver the finishing blow.

Beheading Taki with Inosuke

The Entertainment District Arc was full of unforgettable moments and featured amazing battles. Not only did we see him show a little more courage than usual, but it was also one of Zenitsu's best arcs, contributing to the fierce battle against Daki and Kyutaro.

The amazing teamwork of the main trio stood out in this battle. Just as Daki and Gytaro support each other, we also get to see how well Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu work together. Utilizing his incredible speed, Zenitsu was able to push Daki away, but he lacked the strength to do so as he attempted to decapitate her. Thankfully, Inosuke was able to intervene and once Tanjiro finished off Gyutaro, the two succeeded in decapitating Daki together.

Played a major role in the battle against Muzan

As expected, the final confrontation with Muzan took everything the monster slayer army could throw at him. It took the combined efforts of the Hashira as well as the sacrifices of many demon slayers to finally defeat Muzan.

Zenitsu, along with his friends and the remaining Hashira, played a major role in the final confrontation. Once again, he utilized his incredible speed to keep up with the impressive Demon King and provide much-needed support to Tanjiro and Inosuke.

Surpass the Kaigaku and avenge your master

Zenitsu's battle with Kaigaku was the most challenging one-on-one match in the series, both physically and emotionally. This fight not only shows how strong Zenitsu becomes in the end; demon slayerHowever, it is also a great moment for his character as he avenges his teacher by defeating a traitorous fellow student.

Kaigaku proved to be an incredible challenge to Zenitsu, and his demonic powers gave him a tremendous edge in battle. Zenitsu struggles despite his increased speed and mastery of Thunder Breathing, but eventually turns the tide. Zenitsu, recalling his past as Jigoro's disciple and the respect he shared with Kaigaku for the current six superiors, goes beyond his limits and uses his strongest attack. Seventh Form: God of Fire and ThunderTo put Kaigaku down once and for all.
