Pokemon Legends: ZA Player Laments Shiny Piva

Pokemon gave up on Feebas

On Reddit, CassowaryCrow's Pokemon trainer shared his moment of regret when he gave away Shiny Feebas. Pokemon Legends: ZA To the NPC. This wasn't done out of necessity simply because the NPC asked for a regular Piva. But CassowaryCrow had a plan. I wanted to swap NPCs for Shiny so that whenever I was in the area, I would have a chance to see Shiny Feebas hanging out with my new trainer in the overworld. NPC Susian readily accepted Fivas and even acknowledged that he was Shinee. But when the players returned to the spot, their Piva was nowhere to be found. Soucian reveals that Feebas released the Pokémon back into the wild so that it could befriend the local Magikarp.

Most people who responded to the post were shocked by the situation, with many joking about calling Officer Jenny to report the situation. Others, like Soucian, discussed how releasing wildlife into existing ecosystems really is a terrible idea. Players have also noted that Feebas eventually spawns after handing over one, but unfortunately CassowaryCrow's Shiny cannot return even then. Some people said that the NPC wondered why there was no Piva in the water, implying that they would release it after receiving it. However, since she does not explicitly state this fact in advance, gets angry when the fee bar is rejected, and explicitly asks, “I want the fee bar as mine,” it is reasonable to assume that she intends to keep the fee bar rather than reveal it to the public.

Why hand over Feebas anyway?

Losing Shiny is not something anyone wants to go through, but there are good reasons to give trainers Feebas rather than Shiny. The request is a side quest in Wild Zone 2 called New Friends of Feebas. In addition to eventually causing more Feebas to spawn in the water, she rewards the player with ₽1,600 and a Prismatic Scale. The Prismatic Scale can be given to Feebas before training it to another player, which will cause it to evolve into Milotic. Players who don't have at least two Feebas will need to buy another one to use the Prism Scale, but it's not a bad way to get the item and work your way towards Milotic.

CassowaryCrow lamented the decision to give Shiny Feebas to Soucian, but the story ultimately had a happy ending. Players mentioned in the comments that they were so distressed by what just happened that they ended up loading a backup save file. As a result, they get Shiny Feebas back, but not everyone. pokemon The player is really lucky. Another trainer in the comments mentioned that he gave Shiny Alpha Feebas to an NPC who already had the Prism Scale equipped. Because Pokémon are given away and not traded, they don't evolve and are still dumped into the water by NPCs, never to be seen again.
