The team arrived in former North America to find fertile land to begin growing corn. The Kingdom of Science focuses on non-lethal solutions, while Doctor Xeno's side focuses on military weapons. After a series of fights, kidnappings, and chaos, a treaty was eventually signed allowing the Kingdom of Science to build Corn City as initially planned, with Dr. Xeno now collaborating with the Kingdom of Science. They eventually meet Stanley's vengeful anger and Dr. Fleeing to South America to escape his desire to bring Xeno to his side.
The next arc covered is that of South America. Here they are trying to escape from Stanley, who is hunting them. The team also discovers the source of the original petrification, which started the events that led to the world's current state. It has also been revealed that petrification is not a one-off event and is likely to continue to occur in the future. Senku prepares the team to face the power of Medusa and finally begins to learn enough about Why-Man and decides to fight him on the moon to end the Certification event. During this arc, the world is petrified for a second time.
Suika is the only team member to be resurrected in the New Stone World Arc after the second petrification event. She works over the years to start the production of revival fluid from scratch, and after years of trial and error, she successfully revives Senku and then quickly revives the rest of the team. These include Alluminim City in Australia and Rubber City in Indonesia.
The final arc is called the Moon Mission Arc. Due to their various talents, the team succeeds in launching the rocket with Senku, Kohaku, and the newly peaceful Stanley. On the moon, it is revealed that Why-Man is actually an artificial intelligence created by the Medusa Petrifier itself. Why-Man then reveals that the reason for the petrification was actually to preserve humanity in a suspended, immortal form. The team realizes that Why-Man felt like he was protecting humanity by preventing suffering, and Senku begins a profound discussion with Why-Man about true humanity and convinces the AI to stop further petrification events.
The first course of Season 4 of Stone will premiere on Crunchyroll in January 2025.
