For some reason, when it comes to Resident Evil games, there's always been discussion about how long they last. Resident Evil Requiemis the runtime. It doesn't really matter whether you completed the campaign in 6 hours, 15 hours, or whether you enjoyed it. But if you want to do more, we've listed a few things to keep you entertained.
There are options to revisit or play previous titles for the first time, check out difficult achievements, test how much you can remember everything about the game, and more. Let's take a look at the list of things you can do after completing the Resident Evil Requiem campaign.
1
Get another ending
Breaking the mold a bit, Resident Evil Requiem offers two different endings. Both have to do with Elpis, a new bioweapon that we actually know nothing about. So what should we do? It's really up to you.
Resident Evil Requiem: Final Puzzle Solution
Here's how to complete the final puzzle and how to use the severed hand in Resident Evil Requiem.
To have either ending, simply choose whether to destroy or free Elpis. If you choose something you don't like, don't do the lazy thing of going to YouTube and watching it. Play the game again and see what's behind the different choices.
2
Let's go for platinum
Are you a trophy or achievement hunter? Or do you just want to see everything the game has to offer? Then, unlock 50 trophies in Requiem and complete each one to earn points that can later be redeemed for additional content and powerful upgrades.
There's everything from the general “complete X section” of the game to more specific actions and collectibles for enemies. It takes at least 20 hours and requires 3 playthroughs.
3
Unlock all concept art
If you're not really interested in unlocking every single achievement, but are interested in some extra content to check out, buy it and check out the concept art that's available in certain sections. It includes great character sketches and drafts that show how the artist came up with the designs and various locations, as well as many other cool details for fans.
4
How quickly can you finish Requiem?
Speedrunning and Resident Evil are like jam and cheese. They were born to be together. The art of completing a game as quickly as possible while using exploits and beating it the 'legal' way is a practice as old as the medium itself. Resident Evil is a series that has always continued this tradition, and the first game was always an interesting and fun experience that could be finished in an hour or so.
This is no different with the franchise's latest title, and Requiem is finding its place in the speedrunning community as well. Players have already finished the game in just two hours. Can you do the same? Of course, infinite ammo and glitches are also included.
5
Play new games with mods
Resident Evil Requiem has only been out for a while, but the modding community isn't wasting a minute. Nexus Mods already has over 600 mods, and it was only a matter of time before we got Shrek as a skin for one of the game's unique creatures. It's already iconic, and for some players it's scarier than any real enemy.
But running isn't about memes or cosmetics. You can download a variety of options that change how you play, where items are located to refresh your play, and more.
6
Check the Internet to see if the information about Resident Evil 6 is correct.
There isn't a major entry in the Resident Evil series that I dislike… except maybe Resident Evil 6. It features four campaigns featuring different protagonists and sidekicks, each presenting a different style with a greater focus on survival horror or action-survival aspects. Sounds really good, right? Well… not that much.
RE6 is generally criticized for having poor storytelling and making no sense, and each campaign has its own set of problems. But every time a new Resident Evil comes out, fans of the game want to explain that it's always been great. Especially when it comes to Leon's battle, which precedes the movement and unconventional action seen in Requiem.
7
Revisit Leon S. Kennedy's Past
I don't want to find out if Resident Evil 6 is as bad as they say, I prefer to check out some of the good stuff. Plus, you've fallen in love with Leon (like we all have) and want to continue playing as him in other adventures. You're in luck because Leon is the protagonist of two of the most beloved games, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4.
Now the question may be, “Should I play the original or the remake?” If you have the time, the system, and the money, you should play them all. But if I had to choose, I would choose the original RE2 and the RE4 remake. This will give you a taste of the best version and remake of one of the fan-favorite games, Resident Evil.

Learn more about Grace's mother
If you're already a Resident Evil fan, you've probably played all of the games mentioned above and more. Great! But what about Resident Evil: Outbreak and its sequel, Outbreak File 2? This game was a spin-off game released on the PlayStation 2 in 2003 and 2004 and was the first Resident Evil game to feature co-op and online multiplayer.
In Outbreak, you take control of one of eight new characters in the franchise, one of which is none other than Grace's mother, Alyssa Ashcroft. We meet Alyssa in Requiem, but it's only a brief flashback, and while we learn a lot about her, many mysteries are unraveling around this character. You can learn more about what makes her so important by playing the Outbreak subseries.

Wait for the DLC
As of writing this list, it has been announced that Resident Evil Requiem will receive DLC in 2026, but a release date has not yet been confirmed. A new story will be added to follow the previous entry, perhaps showing what happened after the Requiem story, and perhaps also showing what Leon (or another guest character) was doing before the events of this game.
A sort of 'mini-game' was also announced, with bizarre photos showing a puzzle game and a dating simulator. We don't think that will be true (although we love it to death). But this means that a classic Mercenary (or something very similar) is coming to Requiem, and we can't wait.
In this mode, you must defeat waves of enemies within a time limit, unlocking more resources and more powerful equipment. You can usually choose from a variety of characters with a variety of weapons and gadgets to keep you fresh for hours.
I'm tired of all the Resident Evil games peaking too early.
Capcom's survival horror franchise is incredibly good, but the opening performances are often the best.
