Magic: The Gathering's Secret Lairs brought characters from other worlds, including Spider-Man, Sonic, and even SpongeBob, to the iconic TCG. If, like many, the focus on colorful crossovers has led you astray, today's Dungeons & Dragons Superdrop featuring characters from Baldur's Gate 3 might be more right up your alley.
Yes, it's still a crossover that brings non-MTG elements into the world of the TCG, but D&D has more in common with Magic than it does Marvel. A card showing Shadowheart fighting a dragon fits the tone of Magic much better than a card showing Dwight wearing pants and holding a beet.
Shadowheart and Gale headline MTG's D&D Secret Lair.
Shadowheart is a good place to start, as it is Wizards of the Coast's most anticipated Secret Lair set. That and a set exclusive to Gale from Baldur's Gate 3. Shadowheart's Devotion and Gale's Ambition Both consist of five cards each, all focused on that character. The non-foil sets cost $29.99 each, while the foil versions cost $39.99.
A new Baldur's Gate 3 MTG card brings Wyll's big story moment to Shadowheart, and fans are left confused.
Wyll doesn't have as much going for him as he does now.
Although these are the only two sets dedicated to Baldur's Gate 3 characters in today's Secret Lair, fans of the game will likely recognize some of the locations used in the game. Lands of the Forgotten Realms Set. There are twice as many cards in every location and 5 duplicates of each card, but the price is still the same as the Shadowheart and Gale sets.
Today's Superdrop includes seven sets and some unique artwork.
Despite receiving only 4 cards instead of the usual 5, Black Light & Dark Dungeon Set The one from D&D Superdrop is my favorite. With artwork that makes this card look like a card from a bygone era of the iconic tabletop game, You can purchase the non-foil version of this incredibly unique crossover card for $29.99, or the foil version for $39.99..
Today, the remaining three sets from D&D Secret Lair are limited to four cards each due to the unique nature of their artwork, but they are all priced the same as all the other sets in the Super Drop. Shadow of Baldur's Gate It features much more colorful, almost animated artwork. Whispers of Candlekeep This is for dragon lovers, and vampire fans are catered for by: Strahd's Descent.
All seven sets of D&D Secret Lair will be available for purchase later today. Available exclusively through the Secret Lair website starting February 9, 2026 – Noon EST.. There is no trace of a bonus card when spending more than a certain amount, Free shipping on purchases over $99 to your order.
