Duskbloods was announced as FromSoftware's next big game last year, but we haven't heard anything else from the studio, despite the fact that it's expected to release at some point this year. So far, the only hint that things are going smoothly has been an update from FromSoftware parent company Kadokawa Group that Switch 2 ports of The Duskbloods and Elden Ring are still on the way until 2026.
If we had to guess, we'll probably get another update on the game at one of the big summer shows. But for some reason people seemed to think that FromSoftware had given us an update earlier today.
No, FromSoftware hasn't created a new site for Duskbloods.
On Twitter, you can find several people claiming that a new website has been created for The Duskbloods, and along with confirmation that the game's release window of 2026 is still the same, there is also speculation that this could mean that a new trailer will be released soon. There is no doubt that this may be true, but this website is not new.
Duskbloods was always going to be a Nintendo exclusive.
FromSoftware and Nintendo have worked together from the beginning.
In fact, this website was created around the same time that The Duskbloods was released. If you go to the Wayback Machine, you will see that the website has actually been in operation for over a year. I'd also like an update for The Duskbloods, but this one doesn't, and if I have to spend money on it, I'll probably have to wait for summer.
Given that it's a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive (still weird to think about), we'll likely hear more about it whenever the next big Nintendo Direct rolls around. Until then, try to stay calm about what you see online. If you haven't mentioned anything on FromSoftware social media, you're probably panicking.
