Gamers can watch the show on just about every live streaming platform, including YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, and Steam. Those wishing to attend the show in person will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the show beginning in the spring. Unlike The Game Awards, hosted by Geoff Keighley, Summer Game Fest also offers a variety of hands-on and face-to-face experiences for media, influencers and industry experts. The first of these is SGF Play Days, produced by iam8bit and held in downtown Los Angeles. The event will reportedly be invitation-only and include “immersive exhibitions” and experiences hosted by “leading publishers and developers” in the gaming industry.
