The goal of this build is to use Lightning skills to charge up dropped Cracking Energy to deliver powerful attacks at high speed with high mobility. Doing so will allow players to quickly move around the map, dispatching enemies and increasing their killstreak even higher. The main skill that deals damage and creates hard energy orbs is Ball Lightning, but Lightning Spear is also useful for applying Vulnerability to enemies.
Unstable Currents is another must-have skill in this build. The Crackling Energy Sorcerer's ultimate skill of choice, Unstable Current, allows the class to cast another random Core, Spawn, or Mastery shock skill every time it casts one shock skill. This is why this build will want to invest in as many shock skills as possible in their hotbar, even if they aren't cast regularly. Esadora's Overflowing Cameo can also release massive amounts of Crackling Energy when it reaches its maximum stack, instantly melting enemies.
In addition to Esadora's Overflowing Cameo, Crackling Energy Sorcerer can take full advantage of Orisvance Unique Mace. This unique ability gives the Sorcerer increased damage and bonus enchantments for each defensive skill not in the hotbar. Players can utilize it to access useful spells such as Ice Armor and Frost Nova. Galvanic Azurite Unique Ring is a solid choice for this build as it generates more Crackling Energy and increases the lightning damage enemies take from the Sorcerer's skills.

Players can also use aspects of the legendary Vigil Conduit to spread this damage across groups of enemies. This allows the electrifying energy to attack two other targets for 5 seconds after teleporting.
So the gameplay loop players should follow in this build involves teleporting to a group of enemies, casting Unstable Flow, and then spamming Ball Lightning, which can be mixed in with Lightning Spear if not cast with Unstable Flow's ability. All players then have to do is teleport to another group of enemies while in a place like Helltide or the Pit. And they can repeat the process in enough time to sustain Killstreak.
