Rise Of Hydra has suffered another delay, missing its early 2026 release date.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has been delayed indefinitely. Developer Skydance Games has confirmed that Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will miss its previous release window of early 2025, and no new release window has been shared at this time.

This is the second time the game has been delayed, as Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was originally scheduled for release in late 2025. This was postponed in May this year to early 2026, but we now know that this period will also be missed. Considering no new release window was given, we're not sure if this is still a 2026 release.

Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra Delayed Indefinitely

“Skydance Games’ goal is to deliver unforgettable premium games that celebrate the characters and worlds we are lucky enough to work with.” “Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an ambitious project, and we are committed to meeting the level of quality our team, players, and fans expect.

“In order to fully realize our vision for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, we have decided to move the release window beyond early 2026.”

There's no other word or details about how the game will play out other than that the team is looking forward to “sharing more” at a later stage. Considering they haven't shown any gameplay yet, fans will definitely want to see something from the game soon.

When the launch was delayed earlier this year, we were told the developers would have something to show 'soon'. It hasn't materialized yet, but The Game Awards are getting closer, so there's a chance they'll reveal a new release date there.

Incidentally, this news came five minutes before Rockstar announced its own delay for GTA 6, so that dominated the conversation. Interestingly enough, it followed a similar pattern and wasn't even planned for a 2025 release before being pushed back to early 2026. GTA 6 is now releasing on November 19, 2026, so at least we have a release date.

Considering Skydance hasn't stated otherwise, we can assume that Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will still be with us in 2026. In fact, it's probably best not to have a firm date. right Because before the GTA 6 delay, it could have ended up crashing.
