Pokemon Legends: Best Fire Pokemon in ZA Megadimension

Pokémon fans have always felt the heat when it comes to taking on Fire-types, and in Pokémon Legends: ZA, you'll find no shortage of fiery friends to train, evolve, and join you on your adventures across Lumiose City in the Kalos region in Generation VI.

Pokemon Legends: ZA has dozens of Fire-type Pokemon between the base game and the Mega Dimension DLC. But which Pokémon will prove most worthy of your efforts? There are many Pokemon with weaknesses compared to the power of Fire-type Pokemon, so it is best to catch Fire-type Pokemon early.

If you're one of the many Pokemon fans who fell in love with the Charcadet evolution line in the recent Scarlet and Violet titles, you'll no doubt want to see them return in Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC as well. Capture Charcadet from one of the Dimensional Rifts and evolve it into Armarouge to enjoy a dual-type Fire/Psychic Pokemon.

The type combination means it can dish out a lot of special attack damage, so it's wise to grind those stats for Armarouge whenever possible. Give it a plus move to help it pack an even more powerful (psychic) ​​punch!

Ceruleige

If you want to turn your hard-earned Charcadet into a non-Psychic Ghost dual-type, you can instead evolve it into Ceruledge and enjoy the terrifying greatness it brings to the battlefield. While Armarouge wins in terms of defensive ability, offensive players may want to lean more on Ceruledge instead.

Although it is not in Mega Evolution form here, we still cannot give up its power. It's a more physical attacker than a special attack, so keep this distinction in mind when building your moveset with powerful options like Flare Blitz, Bitter Blade, and more. But what they lose in cuteness as they evolve, they more than make up for in outright power.

This solidifies the standard Fire/Fighting final starter evolution that sometimes seems broken in mainline Pokémon games, but if you're looking for a good balance between hot fire and hot moves, look no further.

As the original Fire starter, Charizard will likely remain as one of the best Fire-type Pokémon as anyone has ever been. This game has been a fierce fighter since the first generation of games, and if you pick up Charmander in the side mission where Mable gives you the Kanto starter, you're on your way to becoming one of the best.
