Niantic has unveiled its content roadmap for December 2025. Pokemon GOThe studio has been very communicative about what fans can expect. This includes plans for a Community Day in December, following the pattern of previous years of bringing back Pokemon over the past 12 months. On December 6th and 7th, players can find a variety of Pokémon from the pre-2025 Community Day event, including Totodile, Pawmi, Pikipek, Jagmo-o, and more. Niantic then revealed the first details about the Well Armed event.

Starting at 10am local time on December 11, players will be able to take part in a new global challenge as part of the Well Armed event. Niantic says players will need to work together to complete challenges available throughout the event, including completing them. Pokemon GO's biggest battle.
Niantic hasn't provided any firm details or specifics on how many Max Battles need to be completed, but doing so will unlock global bonuses for all players, such as increased candy and encounters with Mienfoo and Zhang Mo'o in the wild. For those who want a little more, special paid time-limited surveys and webstore offers are also available.
However, completing the challenge also unlocks the debut of the Tantrum Pokemon known as Clobopus and its evolved form, Grapploct. Pokemon Sword and Shield. Lucky players may also discover them in the wild or through field research during events. To evolve Clobbopus into Grapploct, players must save 50 candies for the fighting-type Pokémon.
Aside from the Global Challenges, the Well Armed event also offers other bonuses that don't need to be unlocked. Specifically, not only will players get double candy for catching Pokémon, but they'll also have an increased chance of encountering shiny Pokémon variants. Pokemon GOThese are Dynamax versions of Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. Event-themed field research challenges also come with unique rewards, such as TMs. More event-themed Pokémon will also be available, such as Octillery, Poliwag, Machop, Makuhita, and more.
