Overwatch's Jetpack Cat and Orisa are a deadlier combo than you might think.

From the moment Jetpack Cat was revealed as one of the five heroes of Season 1, OverwatchIn the Reign of Talon arc, players started thinking of evil combos that combined flying cats with traditional heroes. But as time goes by, Overwatch Players have discovered a very effective new team composition using the Jetpack Cat, making Orisa's Ultimate even more devastating.

Early Jetpack Cat combos that have proven popular include Cassidy, Soldier: 76, and Reinhardt. Cassidy makes sense considering the existing popularity of Sky Noons, which saw the cowboy team up with support hero Lifeweaver to launch into the sky and capture hapless enemies below. The Jetpack Cat made Sky Noons much easier, and the Flying Soldier: 76 with Tactical Visor and Flank Reinhardt with Earthshatter were similarly threatening. But now it's clear that Orisa and Jetpack might be the best combo.

Overwatch Reveals April Fool's Day Event and Patch Notes

Overwatch is celebrating the most ridiculous holiday of the year with some completely outrageous changes that will be playable in the game for a limited time.

Overwatch's Jetpack Cat and Orisa combo in action

The above montage from Reddit user Zestyclose-Salad-290 shows the new Attack Helicopter meta in action. Watchpoint: The high-flying Orisa and Jetpack Cat completely dominate the fight in their team's favor, with 4 kills in Gibraltar and 3 kills in Havana, King's Row, and Lijiang Tower. The strategy is quite simple as we see Jetpack Cat carrying Orisa with Lifeline while Orisa executes Terra Surge Ultimate. Jetpack Cat sends Orisa flying into as large a group of enemies as possible, and when Orisa is in the center of the enemy group, she triggers a slam, wiping out anyone unlucky enough to be nearby.

Attack helicopters can get even more terrifying if someone plays like this: Overwatch's Ana also joins in on the fun. Of course, she can Nanoboost Orisa to drop Terra Surge faster. However, a much more useful approach is shown in the montage, as Ana is shown Nanoboosting Jetpack Cat instead. This significantly increases the cat's speed, allowing it to zoom across the map and bring Orisa into battle before the opposing team even has a chance to react. In the comments, many people seem intrigued by this trick, while others seem horrified by it (some members of the latter group even wonder if Jetpack Cat using her ultimate to carry allies is overpowered).

Since Lifeline is one of Jetpack Cat's primary abilities, only Orisa players need to charge their Ultimate, making it a more cost-effective strategy than the typical Ult combo.

How to Master and Stop Overwatch's 'Attack Helicopter' Attack

to anyone Overwatch For players trying to replicate this behavior, the main trick seems to be to have the Orisa player fully charge Terra Surge before taking her into the line of fire. Typically, the enemy team will have time to gun down Orisa despite her extra health while Terra Surge charges. This can be alleviated by allowing Jetpack Cat to dash to safety somewhere before she flies in from a stealthy angle. And for those who are already nervous about facing this combo in their matches, Sombra seems like a great counter to this strategy. Not only can she hack Orisa, but she can also hack a jetpack cat named Sombra, disconnecting it and forcing Orisa to drop before the cat can reach Sombra's allies.

Using Jetpack Cat in competitive play is easier said than done, but considering how often the hero gets banned, it's definitely worth pairing her with Orisa whenever Fika reaches the ban stage. As long as communication is good, Numbani's massive omnic defenders can easily decimate your team thanks to their newest support hero.
