Originally introduced, fans have been waiting for decades for Oda to spotlight the character of the red-haired Shanks. Finally, at the end of the story, Shanks gets the attention he deserves. Fans can easily see that he is one of the most powerful characters in the entire story, along with his incredibly powerful Haki.

Since Shanks does not wield a Devil Fruit, most of his power comes from Haki. When it comes to overall hockey manipulation, Shanks is without a doubt one of the best in the world. one pieceFew people can compete with him. However, during the Elbaf arc, Oda officially introduced another character with Haki, who rivals the red-haired Shanks. This character is none other than Shamrock Figarland, Shanks' twin brother, and there is evidence that he is overall much stronger than the Red-haired Emperor thanks to the power of Imu.

Shanks is currently one of the strongest Haki users in One Piece.

It goes without saying that Shanks is one of the strongest characters in the One Piece universe when it comes to controlling Haki. Even though he doesn't have devil fruit abilities, he is still at the top of the One Piece world. Shanks has tremendous control over Haki and can utilize advanced forms of all three Haki types, but his greatest strength lies in utilizing Haki the Conqueror.

Shanks has shown feats with the Conqueror's Haki that no other character in the world has. He can harness the Conqueror's Haki from miles away and completely paralyze someone as strong as the Admiral. Plus, Shanks can channel the Conqueror's Haki shockwaves so powerfully that he can take out a pirate with a bounty worth over 3 billion with a single swing of his sword. Moreover, Shanks can utilize the Conqueror's Haki to kill the enemy's Observation Haki, and this makes him truly special. In the world of One Piece, few people are as skilled at hockey as Shanks. In fact, in the Egghead arc, Oda directly compared Shanks' Haki to Joy Boy's Haki, which shows just how dangerous he is when it comes to manipulating Haki.

Interestingly, in the Elbaf flashback fans recently saw, Oda confirmed that Shamrock Figarland is just as skilled and talented as Shanks. Shamrock and Shanks were both born together and linked by fate itself. Shamrock was raised by Celestial Dragons, while Shanks was raised by Roger Pirates. That is, they were both born with equal levels of talent and skill, which is confirmed by Garling Figarland in the Shrine of Marijoa in the Elbaf flashback. It was stated that if Shanks receives the power of the Shallow Sea Pact from Imu, he can match Shamrock, given that both have similar levels of skill. Essentially, Oda was trying to portray Shamrock as a step above Shanks at that point.

When Shamrock and Shanks interacted, it was also clear that they rank similarly in terms of strength. Add to that the fact that the five elders deeply respect Shamrock Figarlan and even speak of him with great respect, which may be due to his amazing skills.

In fact, it's not surprising that Shanks uses the Devil Fruit sword like Shamrock. You have to remember that Shanks' sword is Gryphon, and Shamrock's sword is Cerberus. One sword may have the power of a Gryphon and another may have the power of Cerberus, meaning they both have similar skill sets. The only difference is that Shanks is a pirate and Shamrock fights for the government.

In both cases, the story clearly states that Shanks and Shamrock are similar in overall power. This means that Shamrock's Haki should be on the same level as Shanks' Haki. Above all, what confirms that Shamrock is a person with a high level of hockey manipulation ability comparable to Shanks is that he has the ability to completely erase his own existence. According to One Piece 4 Billion Volume, this is an advanced conqueror's hockey skill called Observation Killing, and is a skill that only Shanks can perform in One Piece, excluding Shamrock.

Then looking at the fact that Shamrock is just as skilled as Shanks, plus he has Imu and the Deep Sea Pact, giving him even more superhuman strength, regeneration, and immortality, a very strong case can be made that Shamrock is much stronger than Shanks. Shamrock has everything Shanks has, but the opposite is not necessarily true.
