Naruto Uzumaki is the protagonist of Masashi Kishimoto's masterpiece. As a protagonist, Naruto is definitely the most powerful and popular. The author gave Naruto numerous abilities that helped him win many important fights.
Naruto: The 32 Strongest Characters in the Series
This Naruto character is the strongest in the series.
In some cases, Kishimoto helped the protagonist with plot armor, a common sight in shonen manga. The author of Naruto never hesitated to help the hero win a fight he never deserved. Naturally, some of Naruto's undeserved victories left a bitter taste in fans' mouths.
This post contains spoilers for Naruto.
Naruto vs. Haku
Sasuke saved Naruto's life
Naruto's first challenging battle took place in the Land of Waves, where he had to fight Haku, Zabuza's disciple. The Demon of the Hidden Mist took Haku in and raised him to be a warrior. He wanted to gain wealth by exploiting Haku's powerful Kekkei Genkai. After spending many years under Zabuza's command, Haku became a deadly assassin capable of taking down his enemies in seconds.
That's why no one supported Naruto to survive the fight against Haku. The latter was so powerful and was always one step ahead of his opponents. For most of the fight, Haku was on cruise control and at no point did it seem like Naruto would win. However, Kishimoto knew that he had to keep the hero alive, which is why he gave Naruto a brief power-up. And he made Sasuke risk his body. Otherwise Haku would have won easily.
Naruto vs Neji
Kurama came to rescue Naruto.
The Chunin Exams are special events held in many villages around the world. In Naruto, the exam is held in Hidden Leaf. Because this tournament is so prestigious, the village sends its most talented genin to compete. Many Genin from Hidden Leaf also participated in the exam, Naruto being one of them. The protagonist faces Neji Hyuuga in the second half of the Chuunin Exams.
Naruto: 8 Most Impactful Deaths, Ranked
The Naruto series has featured some truly unforgettable deaths, but some have arguably been more impactful than others.
It was clear from the start that the fight would be interesting. Especially after fans saw Neji play against Hinata. Just a few minutes into the fight, it became clear that Neji had the upper hand against Naruto. The Hyuga prodigy attacked Naruto with a gentle fist technique, blocking all of his chakra points. If this had happened to anyone else but Naruto, they would have lost. However, Naruto was able to overcome this obstacle.
naruto vs pain
Naruto was saved by Kushina
Naruto may be a shonen anime, but it's also somewhat philosophical. Many characters in the series live with certain philosophies that they are unwilling to compromise on, and Nagato was one of them. As I watched those in power ruining lives, I began to believe that only by knowing each other's pain could the world know true peace. Nagato's approach was radical, and he did not care who he had to kill. Because he was powerless, he used six different bodies, which became known as the Six Paths of Pain.
Everyone had a Rinnegan, but it could only be accessed by certain paths. Nagato also used this corpse when fighting Naruto Uzumaki. Despite mastering Toad Sage mode, Naruto struggled against the pain. In fact, he received help from his late mother. Needless to say, Naruto got lucky once again.
Naruto vs. Obito
Naruto survived because of Obito's weak will.
Naruto and Obito were similar in many ways. Both men were kind and never hesitated to help those in need. But after what happened to Rin, Obito's worldview changed. Her death prompted Obito to help Madara and work towards Project Tsuki no Me.
The longest fights in Naruto, ranked
It takes time for a good fight to blossom, but no one would accuse Naruto of lacking it.
Obito's hard work paid off when he began the Fourth Great Ninja War in Naruto Shippuden. Shortly after the war began, Obito became the Jinchuriki of the Ten Tails, and gained tremendous power in the process. With his newfound abilities, Obito nearly brought down the Shinobi Alliance. Naruto and his allies tried to fight back, but they couldn't do much with their skills. So Naruto changed his approach and tried to stop Obito from his plan. As expected, Naruto's infamous 'Tokno Jutsu' worked and Obito decided to give up on his goal. If Obito had stayed true to his ideas, Naruto would have been destroyed.
Naruto vs Kaguya
Naruto got a lot of help from his friends
Naruto's fight with Kaguya Otsutsuki was different from most of his previous fights. The hero was much stronger than her, so she couldn't fight them one on one. Therefore, Naruto needed the help of Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura, and Obito to have a fighting chance. However, not even the entire group could survive for long against Kaguya, as Obito fell victim to All Killing Ash Bones.
With Obito seemingly out of the picture, Naruto and the rest of Team 7's defeat seemed imminent. However, Obito somehow shared the Six Paths Chakra and his eyes with Kakashi, and this became the turning point in the battle. In the end, Kakashi's latest power-up paved the way for Naruto's victory. If Obito had died normally like every other character in the series, Team 7 would have lost and Kaguya would have reigned supreme.
