My Hero Academia All's Justice fan added GTA's CJ to the game.

In case you missed it, My Hero Academia: Justice for All has been released, a new My Hero Academia game that helps wrap up the stories of the anime and manga in video game form. Unfortunately, by most accounts this game is pretty good. It received a score of 73 out of 27 reviews on Metacritic. This seems to be par for the course when it comes to anime games, especially anime fighting games.

That said, if there's anything that can make a game better, it's its memes, and someone over at Nexus Mods has taken that concept to heart. Because just 24 hours after All's Justice was released, we managed to mod CJ from Grand Theft Auto San Andreas into the game.

mha-cj

No, I'm not kidding.

This mod, available on PC, puts CJ above series protagonist Deku.

Deku is on the attack in My Hero Academia: Justice for All.

My Hero Academia: Justice for all is a giant leap from justice for oneself.

All's Justice finally feels like the My Hero Academia game fans deserve.

This is an overlay mode, so don't expect CJ to scream at you in San Andreas Smash or Los Santos Smash. But that's exactly the kind of pointless addition that can help take an ordinary title and make it less ordinary.

This is also the latest and long-standing challenge among gamers. Find out how you can adapt CJ for the latest video games.

Where there is will, there is CJ

It's unclear when the whole “get CJ in everything” challenge started, but TheGamer has content dating back to 2022 that includes CJ in Spider-Man and Stray. Since then, almost every popular game has had a fan add CJ.

In 2023, a mod was released for Armored Core 6 that turned CJ into a machine. Then, in 2024, CJ was added to Silent Hill 2, replacing James as the central protagonist. A year later Eve from Stellar Blade was replaced by CJ from San Andreas.

These are just some of the more notable examples. Marvel vs. There are CJ mods for the Capcom and WWE video games, as well as a mode that appears to be the original Ghost of Tsushima.

Given how much 2026 has in store for video game releases, it's likely that this won't be the end of CJ Mode. In fact, if the modders have their way, this is just the beginning.
