BENGHAZI: Libya’s House of Representatives announced on Sunday that it will begin nominating candidates for the new government’s presidency, the Libyan News Agency reported. Those who wish to run are invited to submit their nominations at the HoR headquarters in Benghazi from Sunday until August 11. In a statement on the parliament’s official page, House spokesman Abdullah Balihaq said that Speaker Aguilar Saleh was urging his representatives and members of the Supreme Council of State to nominate a qualified candidate for the post of prime minister.
