While your perspective on LEGO may differ depending on what era you grew up in, we all have some memory of the brick-building brand. Whether it's elaborate sets celebrating popular IPs or building your own creations from stray pieces, LEGO has become a constant source of entertainment for all ages – and a pretty expensive hobby. And things are about to get even worse for gamers because LEGO has something big planned for 2026.
Over the past few years, there have already been some pretty amazing LEGO sets released for gamers, from the LEGO Game Boy to numerous Fortnite sets. This is a truly impressive LEGO set, and one that sets the tone for the latest partnership between Nintendo and the bricklaying brand.
If you choose a complicated and expensive set box, there's a chance that the second Legend of Zelda LEGO set will be released at a cheaper, more affordable price point. But these days, few LEGO sets can be called cheap, and prices are usually higher if they're aimed at older collectors. Even if it's a Link minifigure, a Zelda minifigure, and Ganon the Beast, which can be quite an expensive set. There's no doubt that LEGO will put a lot of details and pieces into Ganon, but for comparison, the soon-to-be-discontinued LEGO Bowser set was $269.99.
Either way, LEGO has their eyes set on 2026 and this is the set I'm most looking forward to this year. I thought the Dekutree set might be a one-time deal, but I'm glad to see that Nintendo and LEGO are planning more collaborations, even if my wallet isn't.
