Has anyone heard of Jennifer Lopez? She's totally single right now and in “I'm okay” mode.
At this point, who knows if Lopez and Ben Affleck are together or not.
Neither of them filed for divorce, but he stopped seeing her. BridgertonThe couple threw a themed birthday party and there were reports that they were selling the multi-million dollar mansion they bought together.
If you've ever seen someone go through a breakup, you know the signs.
The newly singles have suddenly become very active on social media, with several sexy photo posts similar to Lopez's recent photo shoot where she looks stunning in a white one-piece swimsuit.
They also post to let people know how happy they are. You know? The pictures are designed to let everyone know that they are okay and happy. They are happier than they have ever been.
Behind the scenes, there's usually quite a bit of white wine and maybe listening to a podcast called “Next, Fall in Love with Yourself.”
If you ask them why they are so active online, they'll say, “Oh, is it me?”
It's all subtle talk, but we know why: They want to make their ex think that not only can they do without you, they can do better without you.
At this point, it's hard to say what's going on between Lopez and Affleck. Neither has commented.
What we do know for sure is that she put a lot of effort into her birthday. She threw a theme party and posted several pictures of herself looking like a princess online.
She shouted to everyone, “Look how funny I am!”
She also posted a lengthy note on Instagram expressing how grateful she was to her fans.
“Aside from my family and friends, you have always been there for me, through good times and hard times. I can always count on you, and I want you to know that you can always count on me,” she said passionately.
You know what that reminds me of? Someone posting a picture of themselves with their friends and joking about not needing a man or saying, “This is my real car or I'm dead.”
No one loves or cherishes their spouse more than a single woman who has to constantly discuss every detail of a breakup and ask him to take pictures of her butt.
A lot of women do this, and I did it. It's part of getting over someone in this modern age. You have to take back social media and keep moving forward and create a narrative that it's okay.
I could be wrong; maybe she and Ben will eventually get along, but whatever is realistically going on, Jennifer Lopez is completely single on Instagram.
