Japan reveals cartoons that fans most want to see as animations

Japanese comics have been a booming industry for decades. With many major anime series coming to an end, fans are now looking for the next big hit manga series that, if animated, could replace the already established series. The anime and manga industry is full of very interesting new series, mainly Weekly Shonen Jump, but other popular Japanese manga are also worth checking out with their anime adaptations.

Anime Japan 2026 has released a list of manga series that Japanese people want to see animated. The results may surprise many, especially since none of the featured manga series are even known to general manga readers overseas. Nonetheless, this event could lead to these anime series being animated in the coming years.

Anime Japan is one of the most anticipated anime and manga events every year, and 2026 is more exciting than ever. This recent event revealed which manga series Japanese fans will want to see animated in 2026. To the surprise of all fans, the cartoon series won the title. 1st place in the “Cartoon I want to see as animation” category “The humiliating ordeal of being seen.” This comic is fairly recent, coming out in 2024, so it hasn't had time to become a hit yet, especially overseas. But apparently they already have a dedicated fan base in Japan.

Winning this event will definitely be a staple in this series. If sales continue to do well, there could be an anime adaptation in the next few years. This award certainly caught the attention of animation studios, and at least international fans.

However, he stumbles upon a mysterious sword that he uses between his buttocks. This series is certainly unique in its own right, and fans can see how it made the top three.
