Well, on the one hand, the announcement and disclosure of the release date Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's third DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae, got me excited. Not only is this one of the best games I've played all year, it's probably one of my favorite games of all time. Needless to say, I liked all the content included in the game much earlier. Unfortunately, Mysteria Ecclesiae is a double-edged sword for me. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 The DLC coming out on November 11th will be one of the most bittersweet gaming experiences I've ever had.
You're probably thinking I'm referring to the fact that Mysteria Ecclesiae will be the final DLC for . Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 And I can't stand the game's story ending. And if you think there's a chance we'll get additional DLC in the future, think again. The announcement trailer for Mysteria Ecclesiae even called it the “final adventure.” However, this is not a final decision. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 It already broke my heart. It's the conclusion to a much larger story that I'm having a hard time coping with.

What this means is that not only will the sequel's story end with the third DLC, but it will also end the overarching, more personal story that began at the beginning of the original. Kingdom Come: Salvation I think there will be a conclusion. The story is about none other than Henry of Skalitz, who set out with the simple purpose of recovering his father's stolen sword. He set me on a path of grief, revenge, justice, and self-discovery that has consumed me for the past seven years.
Perhaps you're thinking, “Wouldn't Henry's new story begin next season?” Kingdom Come: Salvation?” But I'd say you're in denial. The actor who plays Henry, the magnificent Tom McKay, posted on Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. However, he clarified in the same post: “This is my last session on @KingdomComeRPG.”
“Finally” — probably the two most heartbreaking words I’ve heard come out of Tom McKay’s mouth since I first heard his voice in the original. Kingdom Come: Salvation. If you still hold out hope that he's not quite done yet. Kingdom Come: SalvationLet's drive the knife deeper by pointing you to another post from X's Warhorse Studios that shows the team throwing Tom a huge party and saying, “Thank you, Tom — you will always be a part of Warhorse history!” I mean, it sounds like a fitting sendoff if I've ever heard one.
So what is the conclusion? I bet Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's next DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae, will give Henry a heartwarming (and heartbreaking) farewell. At this point, we have no idea what that will look like, and it's scary to think about the possibility that his story could end badly. Eventually, Mysteria Ecclesiae will see Henry investigate a mysterious outbreak. This outbreak could potentially affect him as much as the people he helps. And with the third DLC's “unexpected ending” confirmed, players will get the chance to choose whether Henry lives or dies.
Personally, I'd like to see him eventually reunite with his romantic partner, settle down on a quiet farm, and perhaps have children. For me it would be. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2The Catherine I know is old enough to be Henry's mother, but she doesn't care. But whether it ends well or not, I don't want to see Henry leave after 7 years together. Ultimately, this means: Kingdom Come: Salvation There will likely be an entirely new protagonist, and while we trust Warhorse will do a great job with anyone, who can beat Tom McKay?
