The Caitlyn Champion Recruitment Event is the first official event held since the game's official launch, and is an event where players can obtain the new champion, Caitlyn, Sheriff of Piltover, for free. Casual matches shouldn't be your main matches because they don't reward much XP on their own. The best way to clear the event is to complete missions related to the match, such as dealing more damage or restoring health (check the Missions tab for more details). These missions provide a wealth of experience points. The event starts from: January 22 – February 19, 2026. After it ends, Caitlyn can only be obtained by spending 10,000 Green Credits like other champions.
If you want to bring Caitlyn back quickly, 2XKO, Complete all three recommended missions in Season 1, along with three weekly missions and three daily missions each day for seven days to earn 10,000 XP. You'll need it to unlock her.
