How To Unlock All Achievements In No, I’m Not A Human

Not on my watch!

Identify a Visitor and take action.

This will unlock the first time you shoot a Visitor and should come easily enough. You can also check our guide to identifying Visitors to know which characters are always Visitors.

TV Made Me Do It

Check a person for Visitor signs for the first time.

Choose ‘I need to test you.’ when speaking with a guest in your home and check them for signs of being a Visitor.

Come and see

Witness the beginning of the end.

Look out through the peephole on your door on the sixth night to see the city burning and this will unlock.

Special Delivery

Order something from ForRest.

You can unlock the number for ForRest by interacting with the TV and seeing an advert. The first time you can do this is the second day, but there are other opportunities too.

Once you have the number, call ForRest using your phone and order an item to unlock this.

First time?

Misidentify a Visitor.

Shoot a human. This should come naturally, but if you’re struggling, the tall man from the second night is always a human, or you can identify when characters are human using our guide to identifying Visitors and purposefully kill a human.

Harsh Compromise

Accept a bribe. Shameless.

Specific guests will try and bribe you with an item to let them in if you refuse them at first. Simply accept one of these bribes to unlock this achievement. We break down which guests offer bribes here.

Your Fluffy Master

Feed the cat.

First you have to get the cat, which requires letting in the Cat Lady on the fourth night (she is always a Visitor, but worth accepting for the cat). From the fifth day, you’ll then be able to order Cat Food from ForRest, so order some and feed the cat to unlock this.

Feeding the cat ensures that no one dies the evening of when it has been feed, so it’s a useful item to have access to.

Soooooo…

Answer the pale Visitor’s question for the last time.

The Pale Man visits for the last time on the 11th night. Answer his questions and this will unlock.

Yes, I’m Alone

Let him in.

Tell the Pale Man that you are alone any time he visits so that he comes in. This results in one of the ten endings for the game.

Wrath of the Vigilante

Revenge written on a bullet.

This is an ending that unlocks when the Vigilante asks you for proof that you’re not a Visitor on the tenth or 12th nights, and you make him believe you are a Visitor.

The easiest way to do this is to show him your teeth as they are too white (unless you smoked Cigarettes), your armpits are naturally fungus-filled unless you cleaned them, or you can offer your ear, which he doesn’t believe is proof.

Lost in the Roots

Learn the secrets of immortality from the Forest.

Let the Immortal Man into your home and speak with him during the day to unlock this achievement.

Amateurish Exorcism

Keep control over your body.

On the third day, listen to the radio and you’ll unlock the Psychics telephone number. Call it and go through the conversation options to unlock this.

Do Not Disturb

Refuse entry to aggressive tenants.

Refuse entry to one of the clearly aggressive characters, such as the Middle-aged Woman, to unlock this.

No, I’m not a Visitor

Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Check yourself for all possible signs of being a Visitor in the Bathroom to unlock this. It takes a few days for all options to unlock.

Walk A Mile in Their Shoes

Have a very strange dream.

This is an event that can happen where you have a strange dream and it subsequently removes all guests from your home. This dream appears to trigger when too many guests have been murdered by Visitors in your home, like three or four.

You can ensure you’re working towards this by letting in guaranteed Visitors and keeping known Visitors in your home, which our identification guide helps to recoginise.

What THE HELL was That?!

Witness horrors beyond your comprehension just outside your window.

Look out through your window to the right of the Kitchen during Night 12 to unlock this. Blink and you may miss what this achievement references.

Frenemy

Kill the same character both as a human and a Visitor.

This should come naturally as well, but you need to kill the same character as both a Visitor and a human (over multiple playthroughs, of course).

No, I’m Not Alone

You survived… but so did some Visitors.

You can unlock this ending by making it to day 14, but with at least one Visitor in your home. We have more details on this in our endings guide.

House of the Living

Prevent Visitors from killing anyone during the first week.

You need to avoid any murders from Visitors in the first seven days.

There aren’t enough guaranteed humans that visit in the first week for you to play this safe, as FEMA will always take two (one on the fourth and one on the fifth), which would leave you vulnerable to the Pale Man and you won’t survive.

This means you’ll have to take a chance on at least a couple of other characters, and either hope they are human or don’t kill before you can test them and shoot them.

A House with History

Explore the past of your home

This achievement requires you to examine specific items in your home:

Bathroom – Window above the sink.

Storage Room – The boxes on the top shelf at the very back.

Kitchen – The cupboard on the left.

Office – The magazine on the coffee table and the picture of the woman hanging on the wall on the left.

Hall – The crucifix above the couch and the white bunny toy on the shelf on your left.

Bedroom – Curtains and the nightstand.

The End?

Survive till the end.

This ending unlocks by reaching day 14 without any Visitors in your home. We have more details on this in our complete guide on endings.

I AM THE LAW

Show a pushy tenant who’s the law around here.

Let in the Rent Guy, speak with him at least once, and then shoot him to unlock this.

Idiot Box

Watch all the TV shows.

Other than the TV show you see automatically each day, you need to click the TV in your bedroom the following number of times to unlock this:

  • Day 1: x1
  • Day 2: x2
  • Day 3: x2
  • Day 4: x2
  • Day 5: x1
  • Day 6: x2
  • Day 7: x2
  • Day 8: x1
  • Day 9: x1
  • Day 10: x1
  • Day 11: x1
  • Day 12: x0
  • Day 13: x0
  • Day 14: x0

Hot Potato

Immediately return the FEMA Notice to its original owner.

The Burned Firefighter arrives at your home on the seventh night and will give you a FEMA Notice. On the eighth day, give him the FEMA Notice back to unlock this.

Story Was a Little Dry

Beat the game without drinking Kombucha.

You need to complete the game and unlock an ending* without drinking Kombucha at all.

*However, some endings do not seem to count for this. ‘Wrath of the Vigilante’ and ‘Yes, I’m Alone’ don’t count as “beating the game” endings, and I believe ‘Yes, I’m, a Murderer’ won’t count either.

Shroom or Doom

Perform the mushroom ritual.

This is the ending related to the Mushroom Man who has a chance of visiting on the sixth night, but you must complete specific steps (including letting the cat in before you even meet the Mushroom man). We have a detailed guide on this here.

Embrace the Inevitable

Meet Death.

This is earned by unlocking the ending related to the Prophet who first visits on the third night. You must follow his instructions to reach this ending, and we have a detailed guide on how to do this here.

Sommelier

Fill your belly.

You need to consume every possible item in the game at least once, but it doesn’t need to be done in a single playthrough. The items are as follows:

Enerjeka (ordered from ForRest or given as a bribe)

Coffee (ordered from ForRest or given as a bribe)

Cigarettes (ordered from ForRest after seeing the ad on TV on the seventh day or given as a bribe)

Kombucha (you always start with one in the hallway, but can order another from ForRest, or be given some as a bribe)

Beer (always in the fridge)

Mushroom (only obtained via the Mushroom Man’s appearance)

May Death Cleanse Us of Our Sins!

Join the cultists’ ritual.

This ending is unlocked by keeping the Cultists’ who arrive on the eighth night alive (and not taken by FEMA) until the 11th night, at which point you can agree to take part in the ritual to unlock this. We have more details and tips on how to keep all Cultists’ in your home here.

Yes, I’m a Murderer

So… Much… Blood…

You need to shoot too many humans to prompt this ending to unlock, about three or four. You can view our full endings guide here.

Take Responsibility

You’re just in denial, baby.

This is related to the ‘Child of Doom’ ending that unlocks by interacting with the Seductive Woman.

WHAT’S THAT SMELL?!

Someone puked here…

You need to invite in the Religious Guy (who talks about the sun and beer and sits in the Bathroom) and speak with him three times (over three days), at which point he’ll ask you for a beer. Agree, and he’ll puke and pass out, unlocking this achievement.

Happier Days

See the Widow’s photo from the before times.

Invite in the Widow (who carries her dead husband on her back) and then speak with her three times over three days for her to show you the photo and unlock this.

Watch and learn

Teach a young man the meaning of murder.

Let in the Man in the Purple Headband and then shoot him to unlock this.

Event Horizon

The void stares back.

Let in the Cold Person and speak with them enough days in a row that they show you their stomach to unlock this. Be warned, triggering this will kill any other guest in the room with them.

Radioactive

Hear all the radio messages.

Every day there is a radio message that you can tune into using the radio in your hallway from the first day until day 13. Tune into and listen to all of them to unlock this.

You Weren’t Supposed To Hear That

Access the FEMA Hotline earlier than intended.

The FEMA telephone number is the only one that doesn’t randomise with each playthrough, so you can call it on the first or second day before you unlock it by dialing 000-451 to unlock this.

Breakfast of Champions

Nothing’s better than coffee and a cigarette.

You must order Coffee and Cigarettes (or obtain them via bribes) and then consume the Coffee (form the fridge) followed by the Cigarettes (next to the phone) on the same morning to unlock this.

You can order Cigarettes from ForRest after watching the advert on TV on the seventh day.

Family Dinner

Don’t refuse anyone entry.

Don’t refuse a single character entry into your home (other than the Pale Man, who doesn’t count). If they complain someone is where they want to be, kick that person out.

Wait…

Where are the others?

Invite the person in the wheelchair into your home and then when you test them, check their hands. If they are a Visitor, they will be missing parts of their fingers and this will unlock. If they are human, this will not happen.

Welcome to FEMA

Get a new job.

This is earned for unlocking the ending related to FEMA, which requires you to be compliant with FEMA, call them three times, and hand over all FEMA Notices. We have a more detailed guide on this here.

The Child of Doom

Find the harbinger of a new faith.

This is unlocked for seeing the ending related to the Seductive Woman, which means inviting her in and speaking with her for several days before finding the baby around your home. We have a comprehensive guide on this here.

The Usual Suspects

Meet all characters at least once.

This will come naturally over many playthroughs. There are 56 characters in total and you can see which you have met already in the main menu under the ‘Collection’ option.

Bullet Dodger

They teach this stuff in ballet school?

Invite in the Cat Lady/Ballerina on the fourth night. You need to speak to her five days in a row to unlock this, choosing the following options during the last conversation when prompted:

  • Why haven’t you killed me?”
  • “Good question.”
  • Pull out the gun.
  • Keep choosing to shoot until successful.

As FEMA arrives on the fifth night and takes someone at random, we recommend saving on the fifth day so that if they happen to take the Cat Lady that night, you can reload and try again until they take someone different. Then later use FEMA Notices to ensure other people are taken on subsequent nights.

You’re Fired!

Find the FEMA identity card.

Invite in the guy in the FEMA coat that stands in the bathroom. Speak with him three times over three days and during the third conversation choose the following options:

  • “Let’s see what’s in your pockets.”
  • “Why not? Are you hiding something?”
  • (Draw your gun)
  • “And why the charade?”

Afterwards, you’ll unlock this achievement.

Everywhere at the End of Time

Unlock all endings.

There are ten endings in total to unlock, and we have a complete guide on how to get each one here.

The Whisperer in the Darkness

I hope he dreams well…

You need to invite in the Blind Guy and speak with him five times over five days, and then check in on him on the sixth day for the final result and this achievement to unlock.

Because this requires six days in total and you cannot interact with guests on the 14th day, this means you need to have him by the seventh night at the very latest. You can save on the seventh day and then keep reloading until you get him as a guest that night.

Martyr

It wasn’t your fault…

You need to invite in the Woman with Glasses and speak with her five times over five days.

As she requires so many days but will be removed when the cultists arrive on the eighth, you either need to get her on the first or second night, or you need to get her on the eighth night immediately after the Cult Leader has dropped off his Cultists.

We recommend saving before one of these points and then keep reloading your save until you get her.

Phone Book

Make a call to every number

There are 13 numbers to call in total, but many are easily missable, as they come from the TV, the radio, and from talking with guests. You do not have to call these all in a single playthrough, which would be near impossible anyway.

We have a complete guide that breaks down every phone number and how to get it here.
